Re: Evosid version of 5DEV cranks In case this helps anyone else in the future, since my last post I discovered that 12-spline socket wrench bits of a few slightly differently profiled types are apparently a thing in automotive mechanic land. I bought a cheap set online ranging up to M18 to see if one of the bigger sizes would fit, and the M18 one fits a little loosely in the dust cap, but well enough to engage with it. I suspect the correct bit would have actually been an M20 one but I haven't got one to try, and the M18 is close enough to work if I ever have any trouble getting the cap out. Problem solved!

Re: LTWOO eGR shifter noise (possible issue?) If the brakes work, you're fine. Braking on the eGR is actually quite solid. I wouldn't worry.
