Re: RPANTAHI Carbon Cranks If you want to pair with THINKRIDER PP5 powermeter, then buy the THINKRIDER power meter and crank package set, if you buy Rpanthai cranks to pair THINKRIDER power meter, you have to buy the spacer from THINKRIDER.

Went for size XXL/56, with a 380-120mm bar and custom paint. Lead time i was told is 20-25 days + painting 1 month + shipping (15-30 days).

All in all with the paint +"DPD shipping" the conversion rate ended up being 720 eur all-in-all.

Re: CAMP ACE III (new aero frameset) I contacted them back in March after watching several bilibili teasers. They theoretically arranged the order and gave me a 50 day leadtime. Back then they had to wait for the UCI certificate to arrange orders so that leadtime was somewhat orientative.

Around two weeks after this first convo they sent me proof of their UCI sticker (which is very useful  :-X :-X) and sent me a PI.

Last week of April told me that they had already started the production of my frameset and so on. I contacted them early June asking for the status and told me that for the 20th would be ready, they also added that the frame itself was being painted at that moment.

After receiving no more info about the status for almost a month and a half I contacted them again the second of this month and they told me that "something is delay".

I have not contacted them anymore and neither I have received any messages.

By this I do not mean that Camp is not a reputable brand because those who are familiar with the chinese internal market know that it clearly is. I rather want to showcase that Camp are probably overwhelmed with their internal demand in such a high scale that their international focus is rather low at the moment.

The information regarding prices back in march for the european market where 520+261 dollars for the frameset (frame, fork, seatpost, handlebar, bb, headset and f/r axles) and ddp freight, respectively. Which goes in line with what has been said in this forum.

To be fair though, China is as capitalist as it gets, ironically. In the sense, here, that we can observe so many players trying to make money, differentiating. We can call it a healthy product category. You have OEM that keep doing their thing, invisible to us (on this forum we never hear of the truly large ones because they dont need our business), you have smaller OEMs that we do see (Long teng, Speeder), you have OEMs/actors that try to brand themselves (XMCS), you have clone peddlers (tantan), you have criminals (Yoho), you have Aliexpress "names" that are different levels of opacity and obscurity (SPcycle), you have Chinese "native brands" like Winspace, Yoeleo, Tavelo, that are usually directly associated with an OEM, you have brokers / middle men / salespeople (velobuild, lightcycling), and so on.
Point being: if people are willing to spend 3+k on an aliexpress bike from a shop that can disappear tomorrow, it's the market economy talking. I call it throwing shit at the wall, but i tend to be cynical. Tons of people want to buy a full bike, and have no idea about components. When you sell a full bike, you get to capture margins on every component, and you appeal to a wider audience. Economically, it makes sense.
Whether that's a smart buy for someone who's switched on is a different matter.
Aliexpress, in general, is going to shit, due to dynamic pricing, tariffs, shipping costs, and general macro instability.

Re: RPANTAHI Carbon Cranks I picked up my RPantahi crankset a week ago and I'm impressed. The Easton mounting system is very solid. I'm also using a PP5 power meter. I know it doesn't have the best reputation, but I picked it up for about $60 usd with a crankset, so for the price I can't complain too much.

Also spare parts for Hudud crankset fit the RPantahi crankset from this AliEx store. I picked up a spare 24mm easton lock ring just in case:
