why does this bike call for a 210x55 rear shock? thats 135mm of rear travel and yet its 120/100 travel? And on the Orbea Occam 210x55 gives 150mm travel June 24, 2025, 04:37:25 AM |

The bike is built and had it's maiden voyage. No issues building it. Threads in BB where smooth, no issue aligning brakes. Cable routing was smooth (only one hose thou) Fun first 1,5h ride with both rough and smooth trails and some gravel roads. Bike feels great. The only issue so far is some seatpost slippage but I didn't have any carbon paste at hand. And some fine tuning needs to be done on the derailleur. I tuned it on a different cassete from another wheel, but that didn't work great. So far so good The bike weighs 9,5kg (XL frame) with pretty heavy tires (850g) so could easily shave a few grams. Nice bike. Could you pls post a built list? How much did you spend in total? Hi! You have a build list in the first post i made. Only changes I have done is switching the chainring for a new one with 3mm offset rather than 6mm, which is original on the RIRO cranks. That allowed me to setup the BB properly with the right spacers and correct preload. I also mistakenly ordered tires that are not tubeless ready, so I decided to test a TPU tube from CYDY. That has been a pleasant surprise actually  If i convert my local currency to USD i land slightly under 2000 usd. The bike rides great. Fast and responsive. July 23, 2025, 02:23:11 PM |

Maybe Meinier Snake Max: What he said I am very happy with my Meinier Snake. Seems to be a few people on this forum that are happy with it.
