I don't have any experience with any of these frames, but I own a Elves Falath Evo. This bike is absolutely worth every cent. The paintjob is amazing, it handles well, the quality is really good and the overall packaging the bike came with feels very premium. They also have a nice support system all around the globe. The german contact was always very friendly and quite fast to react. Can't say anything bad so far, I've ridden over 10k on this bike since last year and can't complain.

Received my frame. Six weeks since ordering to UK Size 52. 865G frame, 425G uncut fork in translucent blue. Dark until the light hits it. This is a mist of blue on a raw frame with glossy finish Paint looks well done, no missing spots or anything. There are a couple of tiny dimples on the carbon here and there, as if no fillers have been applied. It seems only cosmetic and I’m not too worried. You’ll get what you pay for, some are lucky some are not. Apart from that, fork and all races look clean and smooth BB with no overspray and threads all clean and good. Anyway,I did chased and slightly faced Brake mounts as expected needed facing. All done, with before and after pics Now waiting for a set of Zen wheels, carbon cranks from DFS and Ultegra groupset at some point. No hurry during winter I can provisionally say the Hylix 15 to 0 offset fits. Only 0.20mm narrower that the Tan Tan post. I tested it with a set of wheels, no cranks and bouncing up and down full force without carbon paste Fingers crossed it works since the inline post will help achieving the perfect fit November 12, 2025, 09:09:34 AM |

I put over 3 decades of ridding experience and my own protocols above an extremely flawed “standard”.You still sound like a lifelong smoker, arguing cigarettes are arent harmfull. I’m sure as you’re such an expert on the matter, you’ll be aware of Josh Poertner , his position within the ETRTO and what he chooses to run himself.I am not an expert, the people at ETRTO are. I am aware of Josh Poertner. But citing an expert to dismiss safety standards is like saying, "my doctor smokes, so it must be fine." Even experts take calculated risks they wouldn't recommend as a universal baseline for the general public. Choose to follow them or not, I really don’t care, but flagging them as “concerning” 😀 that’s just dramatic."Concerning" is actually a very conservative word choice. I’m not saying it's lethal: I’m pointing out a mechanical mismatch. It’s important to remember they are flawed guidelines, and not rulesYes these are guidelines with high probability of some safety margin baked in. If you have any better safety standards that aren't just bro science, please let me know. Until there is a proven alternative, I will keep advocating for ETRTO, especially in a forum where there also are newcomers who might not realize they are trading structural integrity for a few marginal aero gains. I'm sorry if I overuse the smoking analogy, but it's the most accurate way I can think of to describe why "it hasn't failed me yet" isn't the same thing as a system being technically safe. You can always go second hand... I see GRX 11 speed new/as new groupsets priced at 300€ Well, I always keep my eyes peeled + have notifications set up for specific key-words to find used gravel bikes / parts, but the thing is, people here are delusional thinking that their 10 year old bike is worth $1500. A partial GRX groupset in my market fetches $350 ~ CAD. It's not a bad price, but I always weigh between several options to get the most bang for my buck, since I'm making every dollar stretch here. That's why I browse here to find hidden gems. My current approach is to see if I can be patient and wait to get a used disc brake frameset with wide tire clearance, then fit a hydraulic LTWOO groupset on it, as sometimes building from a used frameset can be cheaper here. Can I ask please, which chameleon color is that? :O Looks awesome! How much was paint job with that paint? Paint was LCB-8HS, single colour, full gloss no decals. I paid $140. Have just finished the build and taken it for a couple of shakedown rides - photos to follow! That looks very nice indeed! When did you order? Can't wait to see when mine is painted (also size 56) Ordered on 11th November, size 54, arrived in UK 2nd Jan. Used the sunshine today to take the bike out for a quick test ride and bed the brakes in. I haven’t properly ridden it yet due to the weather and recovering from an accident, but my first impressions are very positive! It accelerates well, doesn’t feel spongy and is super comfortable. So far, I’m very satisfied with the overall quality and ride feel. A long-term review will follow later on. 7.7 kg in size 56 with GPS mount, one bottle cage, and power meter pedals.
