Re: turning matt carbon wheels to gloss
just find some auto body refinishing tutorials on youtube - polishing clearcoat is a pretty universal application.

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road)
Just placed my order for a 54cm frameset with Carol from LightCarbon. Ordered both seatposts to make sure I get the optimum fit, went for raw carbon finish, lacquered, with silver holographic decals. Went for the model with in-frame storage, which is a really nice addition. Really interested in the bar/stem - looks really lovely from the photos - hoping to be able to get a really nice computer mount, but the 3 hole design dissent seem to be that popular so choices look limited. I'll see what the stock mount looks like and go from there. Cant wait to see how it turns out, I have a set of 45mm Go-Zone carbon wheels, rainbow brass nipples, spam cx-ray spokes, 23 internal, which ill fit 30mm GP5000s to which should give some comfort on the crappy roads. Groupset is an Ultegra 8170 di2, plus I just managed to get a ceramicspeed t47 bottom bracket off eBay at a good price, so that should really finish the job nicely. I'll take photos once the frame arrives and maybe to a build thread with photos and comments as I get the build done. Not sure when the frame will be ready to ship, hoping not too long a wait. Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road)
As I’ve said, The past three very highly regarded fitters agree with that fit. Agreed. In contrast I’m 170 cm with shorter legs, longer arms, and I ordered a 52 with a 100 reach cockpit. Geometry is very similar to the Carbonda CFR707 I have in a small. August 23, 2025, 05:50:05 AM |

Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road)
Clarification of some issues regarding the LCR018-D frame set, 1, the seat post have two options: 0mm offset and 15mm offset, The second option was originally designed with a 20mm offset, but after testing, we found a 15mm offset to be more stable, so that's the final version. The default offset for the seatpost is 0mm, as the 15mm seatpost is still in production. 2. about the max chainring a. If use Shimano crankset, max 2x chainring 54-40T, max 1x chainring 42T (smaller ones are all fine). b. If use Sram crankset, max 2x chainring 56-43T, max 1x chainring 54T (smaller ones are all fine). if install the chainring Sram 56-43T with CL 45mm, there is a space width 5.8mm to the frame, it's enough, if 1X 54T, the space is 7.8mm, check the attached photos. Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road)
Has anybody tested it with SRAM XPLR 13-speed 10-46 yet? The last thing I read was that it uses something called 'UDH Mini,' which I had never heard of before.the mini UDH hanger, It's actually a lightweight version of the UDH hanger. It's smaller and lighter than a regular UDH hanger, but it performs the same function as a regular UDH hanger. You can install a regular UDH hanger, or remove the UDH hanger and install the T-type. Re: Lightcarbon: LCR018-D (endurance all-road)
Just a quick update for anyone interested in purchasing - Carol has go back to me to say that I can expect my frameset (54) to be ready around the end of October. Later than I hoped, but hopefully good things come to those who wait! August 25, 2025, 11:38:59 PM |

Re: Warning! My Experience with Winspace After-Sales
Round seat post clamps are like $5 USD. Here I thought you were dealing with a custom clamp for an aero seat post. This is the equivalent of buying bar tape or some other minor sh*t. Suck it up and stop being a cry baby!
