Which brake pads are you guys using? I checked out past forum posts about the pink Cooma pads and apparently they get glazed over very fast. Gold are better? How are Kingstop black?I have these pink ceramic pads on Shimano brakes and they're quite good. They don't screech unless it's raining heavily and quite durable, modulation is good as well. Comparing them with Organic Shimano pads they are more silent, way more durable (and waaaaaay more durable than Sram's organics) but offer less modulation. They are also way better than cheaper semi-metal pads (brand DELT, IIRC) in every regard. I used red Kingstops (organic), they are no better than original Sram. July 25, 2025, 03:12:09 AM |

Are there 2x10mm and 2x5mm spacers or only one of each? I think two of each. I originally ordered an extra 5 & 10. Then I decided to order a second handlebar in order to play with fitting. So I got two bags of bits with a total 5 10mm and 5 5mm. Which I think reflects 2 of each per handlebar and my original 1 extra of each. November 15, 2025, 11:46:49 PM |

Finished with 7.6kg incl. pedals. Had to cut the seat post by ~25mm due to my short legs. Also i have to bleed the rear brake again, there is some weird "bubble" noise coming from the lever itself. I'm also not completely happy with the EDS front derailleur, due to some dragging when it adjust itself to the rear cog position during shifting. Cannot adjust the steps without the expert mode in the app, which is blocked by wheeltop right now. Only issue i had so far which came from the frame is that it's really hard to clamp down the sattle with the screws without scratching the seat post. You need a long narrow bit holder or bit itself to use a torque wrench on the clamping, otherwise it's not possible to access the screws without any tilt. But that's a minor tool issue from my side. Just received pictures of my size 56 frame. Went for a modified eurobike design with Ferrari red decals. I will build it up with LightBicycle turbo 50 wheels with 30/32 mm gp5000 str and Ultegra r8170 group set.

What's the current waiting time for them to make the frame? Still 40-50 days? I wonder if I order now, I would receive it before Chinese New Year? I paid for my size 50 frame in raw carbon matte on October 8th and received it yesterday, November 18th, in Germany

It comes with a "light" UDH hanger. And for the pouch, i think it's 10$ extra when ordering. The first few orders might got it by default, but better ask or check the PO which you will get from Light Carbon. November 19, 2025, 04:52:35 AM |

Got confirmation my size 50 Ferrari Red frame is painted! Shipping soon, can't wait. Although Canadian winter, the bike won't touch pavement for a while.

My frame is ready for shipping. I have ordered (paid) on 19th of September (size 58). At that time they said that they will start production of 58 late October and that my frame is supposed to be ready for painting early November and for shipping late November. Does the cap itself set it a few mm back or is it due to the heat tube angle? Head tube angle. For those who don’t know. The handle bar moves closer to the seat tube, the more spacers you add. Exact distance depends on the head tube angle and amount of spacers, but 20mm of spacers will move the bars back about 7mm on a 72 degree HT 25mm of spacers and you should add 10mm to the stem length to compensate.
