Re: Need counsel on 29" hardtail frame pick!
Following this because I'd be very curious to see if there's something out there like a Marin Team, from what I can see most of the hardtails on AliX have reasonably old style geo.

Re: Need counsel on 29" hardtail frame pick!
i have yet to place an order for a AliExpress 29" carbon HT frame... I bought mine from Meiniers Ebay site. Flawless communication on whatsapp after the purchase. Quick to reply and send shipping info etc. Dont remember exactly how long it took to get the frame but well under a month i think. September 05, 2025, 11:53:06 AM |

Re: 2025 Spcycle M08 T1000 Hardtail frame
Hello, I received mine: 1139g, size M, UD matte finish without accessoires. The finish looks good. The chainstays seem a little “fragile” and the clearance seems limited with a TUFO XC12 2.35. I'll see once it's fully assembled and I've ridden it. The geometry matches that of the Orbea Alma, but there are some differences in the frame design. It's not a perfect copy, but rather an inspired frame. I'm curious to see if the “X-Fader” really has an effect. Assembly is scheduled for the end of January. I'm planning on a 100 mm fork instead of the 110 mm indicated in the geometry chart—I'll see how that affects the handling. December 23, 2025, 08:30:33 AM |

Re: Meinier Snake 27,5 conversion
Just a quick update: I went to 29er wheels for the upcoming season as the BB simply sits too low and I got pedal strikes just too often for my personal taste. Even as the bike no longer fits this sub I'll post a few pics. Weight of the current setup is 8,1kg, and the frame is still going strong. Only slight downside is my headset which has a tendency of becoming loose over time... February 03, 2026, 01:16:33 PM |

Re: BXT 2025 New 29er T1000 Carbon MTB Hardtail Frame - MTB-066
74 deg seat tube angle, threaded BB… seems really promising. I’ll come back if they make a version without the headset internal cable routing.

Re: 2025 Spcycle M08 T1000 Hardtail frame
Hi Pierre, have you finished your build and can you share your impression on the frame?HI! The build is complete, no problems during assembly. I just needed to put a thin layer of aluminum between the frame and the seatpost, because the frame tube seems a bit larger than 31.6 and my Transfer SL seatpost (not in the photo) are very sensitive to excessive torque on the seat clamp. I’ve done a few rides with the frame, a long ride (100 km) and also an XCO race. No problems! The frame works very well. Best hardtail I’ve ridden. Regarding the added comfort from the X-Fader, I’m not really convinced... the frame isn’t uncomfortable but I don’t think you can feel a big difference compared to another modern hardtail. Sorry I couldn't resist the temptation to add stickers.. March 20, 2026, 03:58:16 AM |
