Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
This is mine almost finished. With these tires (Panaracer Gravelking 38mm) on tarmac it is very fast while still allowing me to ride on dirt roads and fields that I couldn't do with real road tires. I have a second wheelset with Thunder Burts. I just need to get a crankset/power meter and put some stickers on it. The options are Red, Big Rock, or Leese + Xcadey spider. The Red is the lightest, but the others have a 24mm axle, so I can easily move them from one bike to another. Or I'll keep the Force 22 and get the Favero MX. It's a tough choice

Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
Just finished up an AeroGrav build. Only took it for a short 8Km shake out ride but it's feeling really good so far. Moved over most of the components from my VB GF-002 build:I see they hired the painter from SPCycle mentoined in the other thread https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,6099.msg83635.html#msg83635

Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
I guess they only have one integrated cockpit (if somebody with more knowledge can confirm) and you may find details here: https://www.velobuild.com/products/carbon-fiber-road-bike-integrated-handlebar-with-spacers-for-hidden-cables-routing If you email Chris, they can exchange it for an integrated handlebar with flare. I'm attaching the image they sent me so I could choose the size I wanted; I exchanged it at no additional cost. I chose a 90mm stem and 400mm top / 462mm bottom width. ![]() September 16, 2025, 06:15:32 AM |

Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
I got my frame! XL frame in Pearl White. I’m not a weight weenie, but a quick check of weight - the frame is around 1300 g. The paint is a bit thin in some areas and I’m missing the through axle for the back wheel. But overall it looks good. September 17, 2025, 04:06:27 AM |

Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
Is there someone who has made a 3d printed radar mount for this seatpost?

Re: Velobuild AERO GRAV Frame
Here is my newly completed build! Chameleon pink aero gravel frame in size M with integrated cockpit and Elite wheels aero gravel wheels with 45mm profile and 2.0 Continental Race King tires. Shimano Grx di2 groupset and xt di2 derailleur Ultegra discs Miche xm12 11-51 cassette Woolf-tooth 46t chainring Fizik Tempo Argo saddle KMC X12 chain XT pedals Magene crankset with P515 power meter and 167.5mm cranks I didn't have any particular difficulties with the assembly, except for a few minor issues with the headset (resolved with a shim higher than the one supplied). Perhaps I went a little overboard with the tire section (even though I have about 4mm of clearance per side at the narrowest point at the rear), but I've seen that someone else has already fitted them without any problems. The 46t is also quite close to the limit (I have about 4mm at the point closest to the frame). I haven't done a test yet, but I'll definitely do one in the next few days.
