I'm repeating myself: I run 45mm effective width tires on this frame. As long as you're not riding in "peanut butter mud" you won't have any issues. But 45mm is the max for sure.

They look, spin, and ride great at lower speed. I have found they become unstable when going at higher speeds (so mostly going downhill) when there is even a little bit of wind. Check if the front wheel is true still. I got the same issues with KORE wheelset and after investigating the carbon spokes went out of tension and that introduces wheel wobble and like you say extremely unstable at high speed or in wind.
