really nice! Maybe some Gulf or Silk Cut or JPS or 555. Too many good ones out there I'm not a designer and put this together in a pretty hands-on, no-frills way — sorry for that! I just played around a bit and drew some inspiration from Gulf Racing, Marlboro McLaren, and Martini Racing designs. I've already shared a few ideas with Peter. Hello everyone, First of all, thanks to all of you — I’ve learned a lot from the information shared in this thread, and it really helped me make my decision. That’s also why I finally decided to create an account here. At first, I was aiming for the LCG071-D frame, but since I won’t be running 50-622 tires, I later noticed that the LCR018 can take up to 38 mm, which is more than enough for me. If I ever want to go with 50-622, I’ll just take my MTB instead. So yesterday I ordered an LCR018-D in size 56. I’m 182 cm tall with a 91 cm inseam — yes, long legs and a short torso, part of the freakshow cabinet. A bike fit suggested a size 56, same as my current Kona Roadhouse. And a zero offset post and 100 /380 bar I went for matte black without logos, mainly because I couldn’t find a color I really liked in the LC charts. Not sure yet if I’ll keep it matte black or paint it myself, but I’ve got plenty of time to decide while the frame is being built. Wendy mentioned production will take about 30–45 days. I requested DPD shipping so that all taxes and fees are prepaid. I also asked for a 51 mm offset fork instead of the 47 mm, hoping it will make the ride feel a bit more stable, since I’m more used to the slacker head angles of MTBs. If it turns out not to be ideal, I can always order a 47 mm fork later on. As for components: I already have a set of SRAM Force D1 AXS shifters, so those will go on the bars. For wheels I’ll be using a NOVATEC R4 DISC CL-PRO-XDR-Gen5 set. Still undecided between a 1x or 2x drivetrain — top speed isn’t really a priority, and there’s not much climbing here in the Netherlands. I guess it depends on what good deals come along. 990g is the weight of the frame w/o the metal storage cover. frame seems very sturdy on the frontal area, more than the BB area (but i'm by no means a carbon expert) fork seems also robust. love the handlebars design, construction seems ok. saddle looks comfy, very well finished. can't wait to take it for a ride. Hi all, Woke up this morning to some great news - Carol has emailed to say my 54 frameset is on the way. A slight hiccup in that she said DPD customs paid is not available to N.Ireland, so she has suggested UPS with a low declared value. I dont really have much option other than to agree, so fingers crossed all goes ok. She sent me one quick photo to show everything - all looks really good (I wish they took high quality photos of the frame finish!), but overall I can't wait to get it here and get building. I'll take some high quality photos when it arrives and ive also just got a little endoscope, so will be able to take some internal shots to check everything out.

Happy today! Just received my package from DHL! Timeline shipping to Germany. - Sept. 15 - Wendy sent me the pictures/videos of the painting, ask finalizing detail - Sept. 18 - received shipping notice + tracking number from Wendy - Number can be used on DHL tracker too - but no change of status until this Tuesday. - Oct. 1st - received DHL update notice, delivery for tomorrow (now) so about 2 weeks shipping time! Weights, guys: - headset: 172g spacers and stuff - battery seat-post holder, wedges for seat post: 43g - device mount + gopro under mount: 40g - uncut fork (no axle): 430g - both axels: 64g - painted frame in size 52, no door: 1004g - handlebar 380x80: 303g - door: forget to weight in, about 30g or so.
