Re: "One bike to rule them all" - lightweight/aero frameset recommendations You might look at Elves. CyclingNews did another wind tunnel test on bikes recently and they included the Elves Falath EXP. It didn't do so great in the tests, but at least it's been tested independently, unlike a lot of Chinese or even western brands. They have some lighter, semi-aero options to choose from.

Re: "One bike to rule them all" - lightweight/aero frameset recommendations Quick pro AR:One would be on the cheaper side if you're willing so sacrifice a little bit of aero from the flat front face of the fork and a bit of weight compared to the evolve. It's very very stiff though..

Realistically though, the best way to achieve your goal would be to get a secondhand SL8 or supersix

Re: "One bike to rule them all" - lightweight/aero frameset recommendations I'd definitely just get a standard SL8 frameset and get the best Chinese wheels, aero cockpit and lightweight components you can get. That should certainly makeup the difference in a race scenario compared to an SWorks while having a solid base frame.

I like the look of the A23 and I've had good experiences with ICAN but I think the A23 is relatively untested. Very SL8 looking but with a round seatpost. Neither frame is super lightweight but if you build with the right components it could be semi light probably.

I'm probably going to pull the trigger on an Evolve once Joe's China Cycling ride review comes out in a few-ish weeks. He said his full review is coming soon.

Re: "One bike to rule them all" - lightweight/aero frameset recommendations I’m in the same boat as you and was really looking forward to the Mondince Indiegogo deal, but now that it’s not happening anytime soon, I’ve been looking at other frames. I think I’ll probably go with the Evolve Cima, but I’ve also been keeping an eye on the VoiceVelo Echo aero frame, which should be releasing soon.
