Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame
I don't know about max torque but I use 7 nm on both screws and it's never slipped so far nice paintingThanks guys! So, I finished building the bike some time ago. As for the build itself, I had absolutely no issues - everything went smoothly and quickly. I’ve only ridden about 300 km so far since the cold days are coming and the outdoor season is ending. Up to now, no problems - the bike is super light (7.5 kg) and you can really feel the speed. I had no issues with headset play or a slipping seatpost (85kg rider or 187lbs, for the McDon… I mean, Americans ). Most likely, the new c-ring and the seatpost clamp solved the problem for good. The new handlebar looks surprisingly good, and the mount for the bike computer is super stiff (compared to the mount from the Chinese integrated KOCEVLO handlebar). As for the Di2 battery, I hid it inside the seatpost with a 3D-printed mount. Below, I’ll list the torque values I used for the build - maybe someone will find it useful.

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame
Today my wife is coming home to this. UCI illegal for bar width and weight so I guess I’ll have to tell her she can’t ride it lol I could easily and at pretty cheap cost shave another 0.5kg off this, but then again, why. - 105 di2 with 160mm cranks 50/34 11-34 (140/160mm rotors) - Magene pedals - Goldix 3D saddle - Tagoola wheels December 17, 2025, 09:07:35 AM |

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame
Received my Model S last year missing a thru axle. Reached out for them to ship me one out, then decided to get one off Amazon while I waited. They forgot to send one out and I didn't bother reaching out as I had the Amazon one Decided to dig through my inbox the other day and ask for a replacement derailleur hangar instead and they obliged and are sending one out now Still pretty happy with this frame. If I had to do it over again, I'd prob go with a lighter endurance oriented frame with clearance for gravel, but when I bother to tuck in the aero position, this is a fast frame. Today my wife is coming home to this. I'm sorry, but no way that weight is realistic... January 28, 2026, 03:11:45 AM |

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame
It's your wheels, and cranks if you don't have carbon cranks. Although your weight isn't half bad No way the 6,25kg is true. January 28, 2026, 03:12:18 AM |

I'm sorry, but no way that weight is realistic... yeah, i didn't think so either i'm on 105 di2, 1230g 18/16 carbon spoke ultra light XMCS wheels, my pedals are 114g lighter, my saddle is 35g lighter, 32c tires, Magene TEO carbon cranks saving 200g, and I'm at 7.65kg January 28, 2026, 05:06:58 AM |

Re: Hygge Aero Carbon Frame
Hi, I'd like to replace the standard screws with titanium screws. Does anyone have any sets they'd recommend?
