Re: CarbonSpeedCycle CSC wheels - avoid them
Mr Kubackje: Got it. So I am not a trustworthy member here because I actually took the time to come back and provide a long term update with my personal experience. Sorry for trying to give something back to the community rather than just consuming and trolling other members. I have gotten value from the reviews of oither members here - was trying to pay something foreword to the next guy.

Re: Spcycle New Aero integrated handlebar with rest bar
I ordered the handlebar, following my positive experience with the R088 frame. Did my first short ride today, but it is my first aero bar so I lack any experience. If you have any questions, just reach out. November 21, 2025, 01:23:25 PM |

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
Here it is built up, the LBS was super fast. No problems with the BB, paint, brake mounts etc. Clearance with 48mm Thunderos on 25IW rims (wam just under 50mm) is really great. I will ride it on tarmac this afternoon and tweak the fit a bit. Really loving how this looks, the back end and top tube is quite slender and I really like how that pairs with the bigger rubber. The Tideace Noah I had previously looked much more porky.

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
Are you still happy with your 316? I'm in dialog with Jack, but with I'm getting a bit second thoughts. I'm totally in love with this frame ✅ Has the progressive geo I'm looking for ✅ Aesthetically pleasing (see Reddit comments) ✅ Rides like a compliant road bike ✅ Abundant tire clearance (although I'd like to test in peanut butter mud) ✅ Excellent fit and finish, especially the paint ✅ Distinctive look, I get compliments/questions from fellow riders ✅ Yes open mold...but they did it right, offer flip chip, and QC has been good IMO (yes things happen) ✅ No logos or branding (this *was* important to me at the time of purchase but now I trust this company enough to sport their logo) ✅ Cost-effective... I won't fret if something catastrophic happens, there's no need to spend thousands on a frame these days, IMO ✅ Mondince has been nothing short of superb in their communication/support And moving over from non-UDH, it was a no brainer. I look forward to each ride and really looking forward to the 2026 racing season. But everyone has their own "Why..." My issue w/ the storage cover is a minor hiccup in comparison December 10, 2025, 05:05:11 PM |

Re: Spcycle New Mold SP-R088 Carbon Road Frame
When I saw this vid, I came see to see how owners would defend it. For those who say it’s staged. Are you ignoring the fact that you can see the wheelbase growing when he pushes down? The steerer is bending, allowing the front wheel to move away from the down tube. That’s nothing to do with the stem, bar or headset. GCN are a bit shit sometimes, but I don’t think they intentionally mislead when it comes to these things. QC can be beyond patchy with some manufacturers, so they could have a void or crappy lay-up. There are clearly many satisfied customers here, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t get a duff one. January 17, 2026, 09:36:35 AM |

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
Here is an update from my attempt of waterproofing the storage compartment. I used masking tape to cover the paint and applied a thin layer of transparent sanitary silicone all around the lid and on the upper side of the box, right on the bike. I assume that the most water would be coming in from there. My setup dried out for 24 hours now and the layer is thin enough that the box closes without issues. I have also added some silicone around the holes and basically glued the washer in place. I am aiming for a ride on the weekend and given the weather conditions, a bike wash is guaranteed. Then I will let you know if that worked or not February 03, 2026, 01:38:26 AM |

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
I will drill a hole at the bottom of the storage box to let the water flow away...
