Re: Wheeltop EDS GeX Not sure if this has already been posted here, but wanted to bump this in case others have not found this yet.

http://dreds.jeckyll.net/ lets you adjust your group set without the app, which is nice if you don't want to setup an account. You do need a web bluetooth enabled browser, so on IOS you need to use the BLELink browser. for android chrome should be fine.

Re: Wheeltop EDS GeX If anyone interested in spare batteries for their Wheeltop groupsets, I ordered from this seller on AliEx. Price seems reasonable and I'd rather have peace of mind knowing I have a replacement ready-to-go if my battery ever goes out.

Re: Wheeltop EDS GeX
Did anybody try Wheeltop GeX with 9-51t (or 9-50t) cassette? I saw somebody reporting no issues with 9-46t, but I'm wondering if there is enough capacity for 9-51t.

I’m using it with the ZTTO 9-50t cassette in 11 speed. It works fine, but you need to set the initial calibration for the small cog as far outboard using the app for best shifting.

Re: Wheeltop EDS GeX
Thanks! Is 9-50t worth it in your opinion? Or better choose 10-51t?

I only use the 9t cog on descents and when I need a quick burst of speed. I try not to use it often. The main benefit is it allows me to run a smaller chainring when climbing. Also I found SRAM Eagle 12 speed chains (non-flat top) shift the best with these cassettes.

Though I find my GeX bike shifts a bit slow compared to my LTwoo eGR bike. The eGR can also shift the big cogs more smoothly. GeX is slightly more clumsy in the big/low gear cogs. This is using the same 9-xx cassettes and even same SRAM Eagle chains.

You have to use long(93mm) cage to handle 52t cassete. Medium cage is only for 46t.

Re: Tideace NEW Gravel Frame: GR201
Please help me out with the sizing of this frame, it's difficult for me to decide which size would be right for me.

If I choose the size 54, then all the sizes are perfect, but the reach is too long. To compensate this, I would need an 80 mm stem which is very short.

If I choose the size 52, the reach is fine with my originally used 100 mm stem, but the stack would be very low and I would need at least 30–40 mm of spacers, which I think wouldn’t look good.

For reference, I'm 178 cm tall and my inseam is 82 cm.

Which one do you think would be more ideal?

Hi there, I'm 180cm, same inseam. Got a size 54 with a Lexon 420/80 mm handlebar. All spacers installed. Works good for me, handling is stable on fast descents.

Re: Thinkrider X2
I've got Thinkrider X2Max and Magene PES-P515 spider based powermeter, and X2Max always shows about 10% higher power. Both devices were calibrated many times, which doesn't help. Is it possible to adjust the X2Max readings somehow? I can't find such option in the Thinkrider Tools app. It's possible to tweak the Magene instead but I believe its readings more.

The only app I know that can do is QZ App, I never tried it but I did ask the owner and he said it should work. You can always refund if the app doesn’t up working.
