Re: Chinese carbon gravel frame for 29x2,2 or 29x2,4 tires
Good news! :D Guys from Seraph and Spcycle from AliExpress wrote me that they will develop a new gravel frame for 700x55 tires in 2026! 700x55 is the same as 29x2.1, so it will be a good option for those who want to ride gravel bike on 29x2.1 Schwalbe Thunder Burt tires. Hope those frames will have affordable prices :)

I just want a proper gravel bike with good 55mm clearance. Something like an Allied Able or Enve Mog.
In Frame Storage, light weight, good clearance, with a racier geometry.
The new Seka is nice, but way over priced for a Chinese frame.

Re: Carbon gravel frame for 29x2,2 or 29x2,4 tires Plenty of modern gravel frames have proven that wider chainlines are not necessary. Hell, the Ari Shafer has official clearance for a 52T chainring at 47.5mm chainline with 2.25" tires and short chainstays (428 in a size S for example).
There is no need for boost, and it's nice to be able to run road cranksets.

As for chinese frames with big clearance, there is always the Yeoleo G21. But aside from that, most of the frames currently popular on this forum will take a 2.1" Thunder Burt without too much trouble. Hopefully more will come soon.

GV201 / GR201 from TanTan / Seraph, LongTeng, Mondince or Tideace? Am looking to order a GV201 / GR201 gravel frame - where's the best place to order from; TanTan (or Seraph), Longteng or Tideace?
I've already got seatpost, handlebars etc so am just after the frame + fork, would want to spec a single colour paintjob, for delivery to the UK.
Does anyone have a view on the pros / cons of the different vendors?

UPDATE: Have had pricing for a 54cm frame from each of the vendors, painted a single gloss colour, no decals, for delivery to UK (have tried to compare apples with apples):

TanTan GR201:
Frame, Fork + Seatpost, also includes seatpost clamp, thru axle, headset, storage bag, paint + delivery inc PP fee = $779
Paint colour from Pantone code. Not able to paint the storage box cover to match
Approx 25 days to build + 18 to ship

LongTeng GV201:
Frame, Fork + Seatpost, also includes seatpost clamp, thru axle, headset, storage bag, paint + delivery inc PP fee =  $742
Paint from a large Pantone list. Happy to paint the storage box cover to match.
Build from stock with delivery in 25 days

Tideace GR201:
Frame, Fork + Seatpost, also includes seatpost clamp, thru axle, headset, storage bag, paint + delivery = $850
Paint from a limited list. Happy to paint the storage box cover to match.
Approx 10 days to build + 20 to ship

Mondince FM296:

Re: GV201 / GR201 from TanTan / Seraph, LongTeng or Tideace? Nice, what colour did you go for? I’ve gone with a colour from another frame order I saw on Reddit:

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel I don't know why Mondince recommends a separate stem and handlebar. Today I shortened the steerer tube and ran the brake lines through the frame and handlebar. I didn't encounter any problems.

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
Which size did you go with? I’m 176 with 81 inseam - so I pretty close to order a 316 in medium with Jack in raw carbon look

I ordered an S and went with a 120mm stem. I think the M might be too tall.
I wanted a sportier riding position, but the M paired with a shorter stem should also work if you want a more upright position.

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
Are you still happy with your 316? I'm in dialog with Jack, but with I'm getting a bit second thoughts.

I'm totally in love with this frame
✅ Has the progressive geo I'm looking for
✅ Aesthetically pleasing (see Reddit comments)
✅ Rides like a compliant road bike
✅ Abundant tire clearance (although I'd like to test in peanut butter mud)
✅ Excellent fit and finish, especially the paint
✅ Distinctive look, I get compliments/questions from fellow riders
✅ Yes open mold...but they did it right, offer flip chip, and QC has been good IMO (yes things happen)
✅ No logos or branding (this *was* important to me at the time of purchase but now I trust this company enough to sport their logo)
✅ Cost-effective... I won't fret if something catastrophic happens, there's no need to spend thousands on a frame these days, IMO
✅ Mondince has been nothing short of superb in their communication/support

And moving over from non-UDH, it was a no brainer. I look forward to each ride and really looking forward to the 2026 racing season.  But everyone has their own "Why..."

My issue w/ the storage cover is a minor hiccup in comparison

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel Hey folks,

I am new here and just wanted to thank you all for sharing your information and pictures, that was for me the trigger to order a medium FM326 with Jack yesterday (181cm/88cm).
It felt somewhat strange to order a bike by Whatsapp but Jack has been super helpful and hence the wait begins.
My initial plan is to build the FM326 just like the Mondraker Arid that "inspired" this frame design.
However, I will be using non integrated components to figure out what stem length works as I will be sporting a 420mm bar instead of the 440 that the original Arid in M/L size has.

Now seems the time to order bike stuff:
Is there any small parts or similar that you expected in the box but where missing?
Any of the standard parts worth replacing (how is the axle or seat post quality)?
Are there any special tools for build needed (from my current bike, I have already all the T47 tools and everything for SRAM AXS builds)?

Ordered my 326 at the beginning of this week, what are good handlebar and carbon wheel brands?
I'm 183cm ordered a size M any recommendations on stem length or is a handlebar with stem unit a better option?
Looking to go for 45mm tires and SRAM Force XPLR AXS 1x13 trying to get everything ready by the start of March.

Regards Cedric

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel Those of you with SRAM builds, can you share which length you needed for the Bolts, e.g. Rear Flat Mount?
It would be great, since this could save me a potentiall delay and a few bucks for shipping of small parts later on.
I need to order a few parts now and could put them in the basket

Update for future reference:
Based on emilioea reply it's a 32mm bolt with the FD20
