What are your recommendations to get the Fauxtro from? I have seen several AliX shops and also TanTan/Seraph and Yoho bikes and I'm not sure where to get the "best" deal in terms of price and quality. Cheapest option seems to be Tantan/Seraph via AliX (okay frame is then all black) Having read all of this thread I come to the conclusion: Tawain Glory (propably Yohobikes) with good reputation and solid frame, Polar Bike in most cases a really good frame (one really crap one), TanTan offering a similar frame, not all the same (esp. derailleur hanger and headset November 20, 2025, 12:05:20 AM |

Got it a bit more assambled as I wait for the last parts to arrive in the next few days. BB threaded in easily by hand. Lower headset bearing snug but easy to fit by hand, while top bearing required a bit more force, but still possible by hand. The custom top cover I got VB to print fits nicely with the spacers for the LC HBR17 handlebar except it didn't have the two small holes that each spacer has. Now I checked I see that the CAD I got from LC and sent to VB doesn't include those (as they didn't send CAD for spacer but rather just the headset top cap), so not any fault of VB. I filed off the two small tabs on the lowest spacer and then all should be good (as it still locks to the top cap by being sunk into it). Next up is needing to cut the seat post and install the saddle, then put on shifters when those arrive and check the position before cutting the fork steerer. November 26, 2025, 09:32:08 AM |

uffff she rips! Went out for a short shake out spin this afternoon and the AeroTrace felt reeeallly good. Some of it has to be the new shoes effect of course, but it genuinely felt fast. Stiff in all the right places, responsive, fast on the flats, climbed fine. Really pleased so far. Seatpost: At the recommended 8Nm it was easily slipping when pushing down. At 8.5 I got it to hold and could sit on it and ride in the alley but when I went over the first bumps on the road it came down again. I tightened it on the side of the road with a multi tool to what felt tight enough, and it held fine for the rest of the time. Will try to see what torque that is as I need to bring it down a tad. Frame and SRAM RD: The RD movement was blocked by the frame as those with the first version of the frame have reported but after adjusting the B screw enough to clear it, shifting has been totally ok. I can probably make some more effort to fine tune it as well including the FD as I just thew it on without dialing it in and it's also fine. January 09, 2026, 09:48:50 PM |

It's a race to the bottom, now it's US$85 !! I picked one up at this price. And the Coospo one even cheaper again. Those together are the same price as a 52T DuraAce chainring. 🤯 I won't be surprised these turn out to be total potatoes. The results will speak for themselves. Stay tuned.... Anyone who’s had custom paint done locally knows you’re easily talking £1,000+ in the UK. When the factory option is just a couple of hundred dollars? Easy decision. I almost went for something like my current Tarmac SL8 (transparent vibes), but I figured it was time to try something different. Instead of going through one of the big boys like Panda Podium or Quick Pro USA, I decided to support a local bike shop in Portugal — Ruben Bikes. Ruben’s a standalone store, not part of a bigger chain, and he’s a member of our forum/page. He was super helpful when I approached him, and realistically, most orders from big sites still come directly from Quick Pro in China anyway. After he showed me, I had a look online and found some Instagram videos and other footage of the frame in action. I liked the colour so much I decided to use it as inspiration. Looking forward to your build @Sander2177 My frame finally arrived in the USA last night, and should be here early next week. The plan is to use this bike as my primary race bike this season. Although I don't do that much racing nor am I good at it LoL. So I'm undecided whether or not to take super custom bling route, or take the pragmatic approach and just build the ER:One with reliable parts. I've seen some not so good reviews on those pedals and cassette (durability/creaks/finicky setup). You set on them? I’ve got two cassettes: the EVO steel 11–34T at 188g, and the half steel/half titanium 11–34T at 148g. Both shift beautifully—if Shimano is 10/10, these are 9/10, flawless. Good enough as unsponsored gear on the WT so good enough for me 🤣. As for the pedals, I’ve had no issues so far. They have titanium axles, so naturally they won’t wear quite as well as steel-axle pedals. There’s also a weight limit—think it’s around 85 kg. January 29, 2026, 05:04:57 PM |

Bought mine on the 4th of Dec, custom paint inspired by a post on IG. - Mounted 105 Di2 - Riro DUB Carbon Cranks + Pass Quest chainrings I had some problems with the chainrings being too far from the frame and had to space the front mach hanger to fix it. - ZRace disks - Hyper SE 23 45D wheels Weight is 7.7Kg with Favero Rx + Cages + Garmin mount Very happy with my purchase so far January 29, 2026, 05:20:36 PM |
