Re: WheelTop EDS TX Full Wireless Groupset (Chinese SRAM)
I also had good success with the TX FD setup, at least initially. It was probably 95% perfect, and I should have just left it alone lol. But I decided to drop it down a bit, align it a bit better and in the process got it all out of whack somehow... took about 30 minutes of fiddling, tweaking the screws, tweaking the angle, etc to get it right again. Oddly enough, it was the outer front of the cage that was causing my issues. But I finally got it sorted. Kinda the same story on the rear, was almost perfect, but did have some quirks, so I went to adjusting and basically wound up just starting all over on the rear again Yeah, its jockey wheel to small. Its a poor translation. Hopefully Rotor will fix some of that. The chain length thing is cage length dependent, so it depends on what you're coming from. As to the occasional slow shifts on "upshift" (assume you mean to larger cog) mine did that initially, usually on cogs 5-6-7, microtuning like 5 steps helped and going to a goldix cassette from ztto solved it. Re: WheelTop EDS TX Full Wireless Groupset (Chinese SRAM)
No, you can't block the large large, and the bigger pulley wheels might give you fits with a 34. The 30 will be fine. I can't use the big/big with a 34 on a TX with an ospw and chain length set that allows use of 3 smallest cogs on little ring due to jockey wheel interference. I can set b tension so that it doesn't lock up but it still grinds and the mid cassette shifting goes to hell with high b tension. I'm going to go back to longer chain and block the smaller cogs, which you can do.

Re: WheelTop EDS TX Full Wireless Groupset (Chinese SRAM)
There's a setting "rd protection" or something like that in the dreds app that allows you to toggle it on or off. If you've only used the factory app, it should be on by default. I don't repin chains-just use another quick link. Its not a problem. There's stories of a guy who built an entire chain of quick links and rode it for a few hundred miles. I have over 2k on a chain with two, but my max sprint is only 700w or so. May 30, 2026, 06:27:59 AM |
