Re: XMCS: 2026 Aero and Allround road frames
The aero frame turned out great! I'm seriously considering it in XL! Yes - compatible with mechanical - same as the current GT frame. February 06, 2026, 05:22:10 AM |

Re: VoiceVelo Echo (aero frame)
I spoke with Bruce from VoiceVelo about larger sizes - he said that he can do, but minimal order is 40 framesets. Consider a thread, that might be doable if some youtuber gets involved, like Patrick Lino. You'd obviously have to pick one size, can't be just "big / bigger", and commit to a geometry. But there are tall people who can't really buy chinese frames, and that one looks legit / ticks a LOT of boxes. Big dudes should care about aero more than others, they're usually pulling in front with leprechauns hiding behind. Last, would be a beautiful example of East/West coordination, to be picked up by cycling media. Logistically there would need to be some kind of deposit mechanism, as "i'm in" means nothing until something sent actual money, and people must feel comfortable enough that they're not being taken for a ride. But it's a really cool idea i think. Also, Mondince basically tried that last summer and failed completely, but it was different in several ways. February 23, 2026, 06:09:20 AM |

Re: XMCS - 2026 AERYS:VRT and AERYS:…
The final form of this build will be someone around 6.8kg all in. Currently its around 7kg. I really need that setback seat post from Peter so that I can run my preferred saddle which is around 100g lighter. And I'll pop in some 30c tires instead of the current 32s. For reference, my Quick Pro ER:One currently sits at exactly 7kg all in with similar-ish components. But using Yoeleo 60mm wheels with steel spokes that weigh 1360g for the set. Not only is the AERYS frame slightly lighter over the Quick Pro, these new XMCS wheels weigh a whopping 310g LESS. 1050g for the pair. Incredible for a set of 50mm. Of course I could just slap the XMCS wheels onto the QuickPro and immediately drop it down to 6.7kg May 20, 2026, 01:45:35 PM |

Re: SL9 officially launched
I got invited to launch party tonight at my local flagship shop. Gonna do my best not to laugh out loud during the marketing presentation. But mainly I'm gonna film content of all the attendees drooling over what is essentially a 3 year-old product. The components brand GANNA has been selling aftermarket "aero-fin" seatposts for months. Well before the SL9 launch. So I am curious who stole from whom in terms of that aero seatpost design. Because GANNA basically sells the SL9 seatpost for the SL8. June 30, 2026, 09:41:31 AM |
