Do you write these replies with AI?

It is very obvious and hilarious.

Re: LTK266-D-SL, race frame, 680g, <800g w/paint & metal parts (M), fits 35mm+ tires
exactly my sentiment, i hesitated to spend money so far and after reading all the problems people have its not worth it. Here in Europe I can get a brand new Cube Nuroad Frame for 900 Euro.

Funny seeing this on a long teng thread, given they OEM for Cube...

Re: Dogma F replica frame
Buy an F5 from the local dealer  ;D

that ought to be a fake, because putting Elite wheels and 105 on a Dogma is like dating an ugly chick while driving a Ferrari: what's the point of the Ferrari then?

Re: LTK266-D-SL, race frame, 680g, <800g w/paint & metal parts (M), fits 35mm+ tires Hello,

I have just ordered this frame in matte black with glossy black accents. I would love to personalize it with my own custom gold logo, similar to the example shown in the photo.

I was wondering if these kinds of logos are typically made from die-cut vinyl using a cutting plotter like a Cricut Joy or Silhouette Cameo?

Vinyl Selection: Which type of vinyl is best suited for this application? Is cast vinyl (e.g., Oracal 751 or 951) the right choice for a bicycle frame?

Design & Application: Are there specific things I should keep in mind during the designing, cutting, and application process?

Aesthetics: Does anyone have experience applying metallic gold or brushed gold vinyl onto a matte black frame?

Protection: Is it recommended to protect the decals afterward with a layer of transparent frame protection film?

Any tips, personal experiences, or photos of similar projects are more than welcome.

Once I receive the XXL frame, I will post some photos of the build process. Perhaps by then, some of you will have additional tips for designing and applying the gold logos.

Thanks in advance!

Re: LTK266-D-SL, race frame, 680g, <800g w/paint & metal parts (M), fits 35mm+ tires So I finally got my first 300km in, and I love the bike, it’s nice and fast & light and got good tire clearance. Got it mostly for the tire clearance, then decided I wanted to make it light on a budget aswell. Building it was a little bit difficult, mostly the brake hoses & headset stuff I found really difficult. But it rides well, and I trust it now.

Here is a parts list with prices & weights (if no price it was included with the parts above):
Frame LTK266D SL Ice crack blue €930   950g
Fork LTK266D SL      344g
Seatpost LTK266D SL      158g
Red D1 cranks (2ndhand)   €143   347g
Force E1 shifters (2ndhand)   €590   407g
Force E1 brakes with hose      294g
Red D1 rd      302g
Force E1 flattop   €35   245g
rival Xg1250 10-30   €44   283g
Kore cyclone wheelset   €358   1191g
FSA no55r headset   €42
gemini rigel 46t   €116   99g
michelin power pro 35   €68   786g
brake disc iiipro   €21   240g
kalloy uno stem 120mm   €17   116g
rxl sl hb 38cm c-c 77mm reach €40 215g ztto t47 dub   14   95
saddle RYET 143   €58   165g
og evkin computer mount   €12   25g
spd xt pedals   €57   340g
fsa to external routing adapter   €20 10g
kocevlo fsa spacers   €5   18g
stans 40ml front 50ml rear 90g
cyclami valves   €5   12g

Weight 6.8-6.9kg

Frame was a bit heavier than expected, but it’s still good for XXL size and custom paint. Will upgrade the pedals to faveros as soon as I get road shoes. Tested on a bit of gravel already and is faster on cat1 gravel than my gravelbike. 46-30 was a bit too difficult for my local climbs, might have to get a 10-33, was planning on upgrading to Red anyway. All in all I’m pretty happy, similar spec as 8 grand bikes in the bike shop, for about €2700.
