Hi everyone, 1. I'm using a redshift stem. Not hidden cables. If you ordered the frame with integrated bars I:d expect it to include the headset cover and spacers you need. 2. The headset cover came with the frame. All 4 cables running into it from just underneath the stem. I have 15mm of round spacers above it, but am probably going to remove some of that. The cables maybe be a bit of a snu bend under the stem at that point. 3. Stock headset bearing seem fine to me. But I don't think I have very high standards for being able to spin the bars. Concerning my fork, the PayPal dispute ended in their offer to send back the frame and get a full refund. Since shipping EU->CN as a private customer is extremely expensive and I like the framespecs otherwise I asked if it would be possible to get a replacement fork simply and they agreed on it. Lets see if and how the new fork arrives.

Almost finished the build. Cockpit: Rpantahi 360mm Wheelset: Elitewheels Gravel Aero+ (32mm IW) Tires: Continental Dubnital 55mm (55mm WAM) Tightest part is the chain stay, as expected. 8mm clearance, which means 57mm tires (WAM) fit with exactly 6mm clearance. July 24, 2026, 10:31:44 AM |

New bike day for me! Quite happy with this frame swapped al my parts over from my Velobuild AeroGravel. When I tried it out today it felt very familiar and I was happy with the feeling of the bike. It didn’t really feel slower or more sluggish than my VB. I was quite pleased with the speed possible on the 45mm Caracal race tires. When I build op my dedicated roadbike hopefully next week (I know, I know, I have a problem) I will order some bigger tires like thunder burts or maybe 2.4 Pirelli xc tires they also seem to be quick on Bicycle Rolling Resistance. Hello everyone! I ordered from their website at the end of May and I just got it. I asked for a custom paint and the result is good (but not perfect). Overall quality seems good, also considering the price. The fork also looks in a good shape. Back again, this time sharing the final build and a few notes after putting some rides on it (400km). I had quite a bit of trouble with the headset setup. The stock configuration just wouldn’t preload properly no matter how many times I tried to adjust it. In the end, I solved it by mixing parts: Deda (top cover + expander) together with some Kocevlo components. Now everything is solid and smooth. One small thing I noticed: when I fully stretch my legs, I sometimes touch the seat stays. It’s more of a habit/body positioning thing than an actual issue, and not a dealbreaker at all, but worth mentioning. On the ride side, I feel very confident on the bike. The handling suits me well, stable but still responsive. I can comfortably ride no-hands, which I couldn’t really do on some other frames I tried with different geometries. Overall, pretty happy with how this build turned out. They just forgot to remove some of the paint from the inside, it shouldn't be inside the frame. It's definitely more than just some paint from the inside. I had to sand it for a good 20min with 80 grain sandpaper just to get the seatpost to fit in the frame. I had to remove quite a bit of material and the problem wasn't actually right at the top but it was after the clamp so a good 3-5cm in the frame. Anyway in the end I got it to work and Spcycle agreed to send me a new carbon seatpost since mine was ruined, but in a perfect world it shouldn't happen. Hopefully everything else is going to go smoothly
