Re: Velobuild VB-R-368 Aeroframe
Regards geometry/fit.... I am certainly no expert, but currently ride the 368 (set up long with steepest seat angle and 160mm cranks)

Bike Geometry friend!

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel Hey folks
Has anyone used this on the road with road tyres and would give some feedback please.
Thanks!

Re: Thoughts on modern frame geometry trends? Steep seat tubes? High stack? The steep seat tube, high-stack thing isn't / shouldn't be for performance drop-bar bikes. Yeah, it's a minority opinion that only really gets heard by the designers who make WT-spec race bikes, who are now starting to lower stacks again. /rant

The problem is that you are using stack and reach to solve a problem that sounds like it's actually a saddle-to-bar distance (resolved to X, Y components) problem. One of the assumptions of the church of stack and reach is that your pedaling position is fixed and optimized. Because these new geometries intentionally shift your pedaling position, using stack and reach to translate your fit won't work. I would recommend going back to the basics and refitting accordingly.

If I remember correctly, you are slightly between sizes. I suspect refitting will lead you to the bigger size, but then the issue might be that you can't get low enough, so you need to look at a brand with more aggressive geometry, and we can rant together.

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
I just purchased the frameset today for this reason only to be used on the road because of the long front center , long reach, steep Sta (similar to Noah 3.0),threaded bb,  and not insane stack or stand over. This frameset solves all of these issues for me. I can let you know how it rides once received if interested, I did ask for all the rivets minus the ones for the water bottles to be removed as I would not be using them ever.

Would be interested in your feedback.
We can compare notes as have one coming too  8)

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel First gravell race done and +1500km ridden. Very good. The geometry feels safe in fast speed and on poor surfaces.
25id and 2.1" thunderburt. Have to check if there are any marks from the tire hitting the chainstay.

Fm316, M-size. 120mm stem. 178cm. Feels a little short, but is stable to handle.
Long reach geo is WINNER!
