Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
Would you guys trust Mondince to do a quite intricate decal job? I've got some decals I want on the frame, but I'm not sure if I should order a frame without clear coat and do the decals myself. Then have a local shop do the clearcoat after that. What do you guys think?DIY vote! My one comes. Photo with 410/55 winowcycle 60c fork July 18, 2026, 10:24:49 PM |

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
Just build up! Playing with satellite shifters location, so excuse the old bar tape. R9270 / R8170 mix Elilee X310 with Sigeyi PM LB WG55 wheels with Compass Snoquallmie Pass tires. July 20, 2026, 08:24:19 AM |

Re: Mondince new 2026 Aero Gravel
Hi everyone, I finally completed my custom gravel project and just came back from a very successful 40km shakedown ride. I wanted to share the build details and some feedback on the Mondince FM316 frame. Here is the full spec list for this Gravel build: Frame: Mondince FM316-S (Size S) Groupset: Wheeltop GX Wireless (1x12) Crankset: Magene PES P515 Power Meter Cassette & Chain: Shimano SLX 12-speed (10-51) Wheels: EliteWheels Marvel G36 Carbon Tires: Tufo Thundero HD 48mm Rotors: 160mm Front & Rear Cockpit: UNO HB-FL12 Carbon Handlebar with a 75mm stem (+6°) Total Weight: 9.1kg First Ride Impressions: To give some context, I am a mountain biker at heart, usually riding full-suspension All-Mountain bikes and e-MTBs. This Mondince build is actually my very first experience riding a fully rigid bike with zero suspension! 😅 I have to admit, I was completely surprised by the snappiness and the immediate reactivity of the bike. Coming from heavy, plush mountain bikes, the power transfer here is just insane. The frame is super stiff laterally and feels like an absolute rocket when sprinting out of the saddle. Despite having no suspension, the clearance for the 48mm Tufo tires acts as a great cushion, making it a real tank on rough trails, while the carbon EliteWheels keep it incredibly lively. The Wheeltop GX shifting was flawless. Pictures attached! Let me know if you have any questions about the frame or the components. July 25, 2026, 11:40:07 AM |

Re: Quick Pro : RIME Aero
Cervelo s5/scott foil copies are over. Sworks SL9 copies are the new meta Apparently, all you need to qualify as an sl9 copy is a rear triangle that shapes around the rear wheel. 😂 August 06, 2026, 11:06:06 PM |

Mondince FM326 Build
I finally got my FM326 built. I would consider this my dream build. I have always wanted to build a bike up with components I selected. Total weight 18.8 lbs (8.5kg) with tubeless but without pedals. Here is a list of the components: Frame: Mondince FM326, XL(58), Chameleon green. Groupset: Sram Force AXS XPLR 13sp Wheelset: Elitewheels Aero+ Gravel Tires: Maxxis Rambler 45mm (47.5mm on wheels and inflated) Saddle: Ryet Aircode Integrated Handlebar and Stem: Lexon Unox 80mm x 440mm Bar tape: Fizik Terra Soulcrush tacky. black. The ordering process through Mondince was painless and Jack patiently answered all my questions and even suggested a few paint colors. The frame was well build. There was a bit of carbon epoxy in the bottom bracket shell threads. I took a brass brush and small o-ring pick to it and it came right off and bottom bracket threaded in smoothly. The bb shell faces were flat and free of paint. The disk brake caliper mounts on the frame and fork where clean as well. For some reason I could not get the brake rotors centered in between the brake pads. I tried the usual methods, squeeze the brake levers while I tightened the caliper bolts and I even placed a shim in between the pad and rotors while squeezing and tightening the bolts. Both front and back rotors are still rubbing a brake pad on one side. I hope this does not mean I need to reface the caliper mounts. The paint came out great, better than I expected. The chameleon green turned out awesome. I received the frame in twelve days. They already had the frame built. I believe I may have a first batch frame since it has the mounts on the seat stays. I didn’t realize they were in there. In hindsight I would have asked them for a frame without them. All in all I not hesitate to buy from them again or suggest them to someone else. Since this has the same geometry of the Mondraker Arid, and look similar, I kept with the same crank length, bar width and stem length as that bike in my size. I’m glad I did since the bike rides and fits me well. I was able to do a short ride through my neighborhood, which included some gravel, before a rain storm hit. Here are some quick impressions. The bike handled well. It was stable and I could tell the geometry leaned a little towards MTB geometry but not some much it was slow. I was able flick it around on tight sidewalks and bike paths, exciting I know. The SRAM Force group-set is my first step into SRAM territory and wireless shifting. I have ridden mechanical shifting for the past 36 years, don’t bother with the math Im just old, and I have had zero problems with that type of shifting. I won’t lie it will take a bit to get use to the wireless shifting. SRAM Force shifted quickly and accurately. The brake levers had the right amount of force and I was able to lock up the back wheel with two fingers from the hood while bedding in the brake pads As many have said, the Elitewheel Aero+ freehub is loud, but i like the way it sounds. While I was riding and the storm was rolling in, there was a slight cross wind and I could feel it catch the 45mm deep rims. It will be interesting when I encounter a direct cross wind from the side. It is windy throughout the year where I live in Utah. These are the first carbon wheel I have had and I am interested to how they track and feel in the gravel. The Lexon Unox bar/stem are very light and comfortable. The flare seems to be the right amount but agin this is my first gravel bike so I still need more ride time to tell. I do like the short reach and drops of these bars and this is after riding a road bike for the past 13 years. I had to 3D print a c-ring to get the bearing top cover to the right height to eliminate the 2mm+ gap but in the end it worked out well. Shout out to a forum member for sharing the file, you know who you are! I still need to dial in the lever height before I wrap the bars. Since the Lexon Unox has a -6 degree rise the hoods sat lower than I liked, so I will be raising them slightly. I have far too little time on the Ryet Aircode saddle to give a far review but it didn’t seem uncomfortable. Having said this I did notice a bit of stiffness around the edges of the cutout. Take that with a grain of salt since I didn’t have padded bibs on this test ride. I’m excited to get this bike on a long ride this weekend. I will give a more in depth report once I have more ride time. Have a good night and keep the rubber side down August 09, 2026, 11:17:03 PM |

Re: AirWolf "Grevil"
Someone reached out asking about this frame recently so update time I guess. This frame has earned its keep in my ever-growing fleet of bikes. So much so that I decided to paint it a GMC color called Downpour Metallic. I also swapped out the drivetrain for a mix of SRAM Force D2 & E1. Now running 12sp XPLR in 2X with a Force WIDE FD with 48/34 cranks from Alugear. 10-44T cassette incoming. And ofc you had to turn it into a counterfeit by putting a logo where it doesn't belong. On an airwolf frame, the irony is exquisite. August 12, 2026, 01:13:22 AM |

Evolve Cima GR build / tire clearance
7.2kgs with 40mm tires (size M) Dura-Ace/GRX/XTR build details below! Tire clearance detailed below! ![]() https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WTlJCgMTGyZIGCSC4D-jL-Pu9TamX5sA/view?usp=drive_link Tire Clearance on Evolve Cima GR: (Photos: https://www.facebook.com/groups/975602387895509/posts/1339069638215447) With a 40.69mm measured tire, I have 11.92mm of space on EACH side on the back wheel. With 4-6 mm of space around the tire, this allows you to go with any gravel tires I am aware of that are 50-622. Going larger on the back will be determined by whether you have a 2x and the tread type you are putting on. Is it going to fit the big Thunder Burts or MTB tires on the back? No. Will it fit the Dubnital on the back? That will depend on your rims. 50s easily fit on the front... with the same tire on the front, I had 13.00mm on each side. IF you felt the need to go big with tires, you could run larger on the front than the back, of course. IMHO, when truly on gravel or single-track, you should be doing that anyway! Re: Evolve Cima GR build / tire clearance
I have nothing against SRAM, and I have it on two other bikes (one road bike with Red/Force and one Gravel bike with Rival/Red XPLR mix). Shimano is cheaper right now, by a lot. I bought the groupset pieces off AliExpress from the Anrancee store. The equivalent Red E1 XPLR would have cost MUCH more.

Re: Evolve Cima GR build / tire clearance
I don't think the SRAM braking is better than Shimano. I think it is different, and some people prefer one over the other due to lever feel and design. SRAM D1 was horrible, of course, but the E1 is what people like now, and I think that upgrade was huge, but not really over Shimano. If people are super concerned with braking, a bigger improvement would be 180/160 rotors instead of 160/160 or 160/140!
