Re: chinese carbon saddles I've seen the Gelu (Ryet) saddles myself and they are tempting. However, having owned Berk saddles in the past, I personally wouldn't go for them again. I had three saddles from Berk and had to warranty all of them. Sure, they're light and look great, and I’m well under the 100kg rider weight limit, but they always ended up cracking. So I wouldn’t be too confident in a Chiner copy either.

That said, I do have a Bjorn 3D-printed saddle on my SL8, and Ryet even has a copy of that now. For my upcoming build—which I'm aiming to keep as a budget weight-weenie setup—I decided to try the Ryet EVA saddle. It cost me £36.97 and weighs about 110g. Honestly, it looks pretty good for the price.

2026 New Tantan X7 : Only available as a complete bike Tantan has just released a new frame but only available in a complete bike. Not a lot of information for now (weight, ...).

I assume that reading threads like this biases you a lot. Those people who don't have any issues with their frames don't post here.

I have finished my build this week and so far I am very impressed. The carbon quality seems to be very good.
The assembly process was quite hard for me, because I have never asseembled a whole bike before and I had to face some issues. For example the output holes for the brake hoses in the handlebar were too small. So I made them bigger with my girlfriend's electric nail file  ;)
And I had a few minor problems with the expander and this crazy centering ring because of my own silliness.
But after a few days I made it and this the result:

Maybe old info, but anyway. I just got reply for "New X68" :

The mold for the new version of the TT-X68 frame is still being manufactured.
We need to wait for the sample frame to pass the test before we can start producing the frame and start selling it.
It is expected to be September-October.

We only have 3D pictures and no pictures of the actual frame yet.

TT-X68 new will be in sizes: 49/52/54/56/58/61cm (it is not sure whether the mold will be opened for all frame sizes now)

Re: VeloBuild VB-TT-023 Hey folks! I finally built my TT-023, thanks in large part to this amazing thread.

I’m based in China, so I sourced everything locally and mostly Chinese-made, including WheelTop’s latest TT groupset. So far, it seems to be a pretty good deal.

I had my local bike shop handle the build, and the mechanic didn’t run into many issues. The only problem was that the seatpost kept slipping until I tightened it to 8 Nm, as recommended by Velobuild’s after-sales support.

I’ve only ridden it outdoors once because I mostly train on a smart trainer and the weather hasn’t been great. That one ride was awesome, though—the bike feels comfortable and stiff, and the data suggests it’s faster than my road bike with clip-on aero bars. Duh, of course!

I’ll be racing it in a long-course event at the end of this month. If anyone’s interested, I’ll hopefully report back afterward.

Some photos and a geometry chart  for the updated X68
Looks like 35c clearance but I have been told this is provisional and the BB is T47
Photos is a 54cm which will be the first size for sale with the shortest lead time when it becomes available, good job as 54cm is my size  ;D
No Ideas what frame sizes they will be offering as was told "Regarding the full range of sizes, nothing has been finalized yet; we will make a decision based on market demand and sales performance"

Price "As for the price, it should be the same as that of the TT-X68" which is good to here!
