Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame
Could you cite the source? Page 40 from the LCR018 forum. We submitted our UCI certification application for LCR018-D several months ago, but it took us a long time to receive a reply from UCI. They said that the bottom edge height of the eagle-eye design on our LCR018-D is 5mm, and according to the latest UCI rules, it must be changed to at least 10mm (the UCI rules have recently been revised, and even SEKA's eye design was notified that it does not comply with the new regulations). If this area is changed to 10mm, the eagle-eye design will not look good. Moreover, considering that we already have many outstanding orders and are busy with production, we do not plan to change the design or molds for the time being, so we are temporarily suspending the UCI application for this model. Back on the LCR020, the jump is painting cost is a real bummer to me. I was previously able to get LC decals with one colour for $120. I think it is a little crazy to pay to for decals to advertise their brand... Do we know what the limit of the $300 customization fee is? How many colours, decal number, etc? Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame
I'm seconds away from choosing this frame over any other aero frames I'm eyeing on. Everything looks promising atm except the weight. Well what can we expect for a $700 frame lol. Same here, but honestly, grams per dollar make you have enough wiggleroom to get a sub1200g wheelset. Which “counters” the weight penalty, if I can make anything sub 8kg I am more than happy as a 187cm person on 60cm frames July 23, 2026, 05:03:13 AM |

Re: Tavelo Arden
Photos: https://tavelo.cc/products/tavelo-arden-race-frameset?VariantsId=11802 Geometry and specs: Apparently they don't think they are very important Makes me wonder if the Chinese prices are low enough. Crappy sites and information. Many times need to talk directly with people. Questionable service and huge delays to get the product (or the replacement). Obviously no physical shops to go and check/test the items you will buy and later complain if needed Anyway....going back to make excuses that I need the XMCS VRT and a new set of chinese wheelset July 23, 2026, 08:57:08 AM |

Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame
Is it actually available to order at the moment? Everything I've heard is that it'll only be ready for ordering by the end of the year. They take pre-orders, and there's a queue. They're past the point of changing the geometry, afaik, that boat has sailed and the chinertown community isn't part of that decision process. July 24, 2026, 06:47:26 AM |

Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame
Disgusting way to apply a price increase. Even if it’s still cheaper than the XMCS I’d rather give my money to Peter. I feel the same, also it seems like the LC 18 frame comes with some issues which might be ok for the price but now it is a hard sell. August 16, 2026, 08:00:47 AM |

Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame
Just got picture of a real finished frameset, just one picture not much, but better than nothing (handlebars are still 3d printed in photo, Jim says handlebar are still in process of testing). The only thing I dont get why they decided to turn around front thrue axle, but otherwise I think it looks pretty good. PS: frame size in picture should be size 54 August 18, 2026, 01:42:09 AM |

Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame
ATGNI: Maybe those are just some random 3dprinted version 38 of handlebars just put on a bike. I believe from handlebars dimensions chart that was here previously handlebars lines looked a bit different and would trust dimensions chart, but that is just me speculating. Those riser handlebars definitely will look better with longer stems 110-120mm (I hope), with shorter one they look a bit different, but still imo better than 30-40mm spacer stack .

Re: XMCS - 2026 VRT
The Nero Show asked me to get permission from Peter for me to send them the full report. They actually covered it quite well and fairly. August 19, 2026, 07:57:20 AM |
