Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame
Yeah, the way they are going about this isn’t going to help them at all. I get it - they are new to dealing with the public and quickly realising all the hassle that that entails compared to B2B. It would have been far better to increase the price of the frame by $200 and offer simple paint schemes in the price - it’s still a crazy cheap frame considering their quality. The way they are going about it is all wrong - feels like a trick and would honestly put me off, even though I still think the frame is worth the money. I’ve reached out to Carol for clarification. Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame
For those who have reached out for details or ordered a frame, do you know if they have 0 and offset seat posts? If so, did they tell you the offset on the post? Glad they moved away from the saddle clamp design they used on the LCR018.When I ordered, there was only one seatpost option, wendy said it has 0mm offset August 27, 2026, 07:15:18 AM |

Re: New Avenger R8-RS
Okay, so that is not the final review, but let say the first impressions from 500 km. On the first race after 4 rides I was fifth, and third in my cat. M3, on Gran Fondo Warsaw. In general the bike is really fast, stiff, accelerate amazingly. I have 50 mm wheels Tagoola Pulse 50 UL on it. In my opinion around 1-2 km/h average faster than shuttle. Maybe due to the position, and 380 handlebar, maybe the conditions are different. I'm planning to compare those two, but after my vacation. Now I have 52t on the front, 10-33t on the back, on flats it's like a rocket! The total weight is on the edge of 7 kgs. On 5th of September I will have a mountain race Tatra Road Race, so the plan is to test the new machine. It's rather very demanding so I would be happy if I hit the top 100. Then I will have some full overview of the bike. For now it's 10/10, except the issue with the geometry, for me it's not correct.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-368 Aeroframe
First holiday with the bike I like it even more now. Despite the weight I like the way it rides and climbs. I swapped my 10-28 cassette for a 10-33 to get a better bailout gear, but I didn’t need it yet tomorrow I will do a ride with some more climbing. September 06, 2026, 07:49:02 AM |

Re: Velobuild VB-R-368 Aeroframe
Wheels look great in this pic. Serenade? Yes 65 in the back 60 in the front. 25 internal. I love them they ride great. I was worried they would feel harsh with the carbon spokes but they are super comfy and fast! September 06, 2026, 09:07:55 AM |

Re: Velobuild VB-R-368 Aeroframe
So I did a thousand km’s on the bike now and a few thousand meters of climbing last week and I must say I really like the bike and the speed makes me like road biking a lot more.![]() I don’t have any problems and the ride feel is great. I am comfortable on the bike but I don’t have any good roadbikes to compare it to. I only rode some aluminium bikes before switching to carbon gravel bikes. The only thing I don’t really like if I have to think of something is the weight but that doesn’t really matter for 95% of the riding I do because where I live everything is flat. Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame
You can make the argument with any end of the year heavily discounted frame. But I am not here to convince anyone, I have my opinion based on what value I put on things, other sees it differently, it’s perfectly fineyour argument applies to all the chinese frames here then. almost all the higher end chinese quality frames cost in the 1000$ +/- range. the cheap stuff is lottery grade. and the resell value is 0 for all of them. so why bother for chinese frames at all? i dont get this enraged discussion every 3 weeks.
