Oh man, thats pricey delivery!   I would have run your makeshift bolt and waited, but I guess you needed it sooner than later.  Hope you're not down for too long.

Re: TanTan FM10 BB Delamination - Warranty Claim Hard to tell from the pics but it looks more like wear from a poorly fitted BB. Not saying that is your fault, could easily be from a BB shell that is out of tolerance.

Re: FM1001 / FM1156 - 135mm frame Cable routing between the forks legs is extremely important!

Just kidding, it really doesn't matter much. The main reason the brake house should be routed between the fork legs is to prevent brake hose damage in a crash. The fork's cast metal lowers are ready to protect your brake hose from sharp rocks and impacts.

Re: FM1001 / FM1156 - 135mm frame Hey everyone, wanted to re-visit the topic of bearings for this frame. I have been able to identify all the bearings used on this frame. Below are the bearings/quantity

Rocker arm pivot/main chain stay pivot:
F6902-EA - x4. This is a flanged bearing

Seat stay/Chain stay pivots:
F6901 - x8. This is a flanged bearing

Lower shock mount:
6801 - x2

As of right now Enduro carries the f6902-EA and the 6801. Currently they do not carry the F6901. The good news is I have exchanged some emails with Enduro, and it looks like they will be adding the F6901 to the catalog. No ETA but sounds like they will have the standard version and the MAX version.

What's diameter of headset cover from Carbonda?

EDIT: just received additional info from Acros. Sent them FM909 headtube drawing and they said their parts will fit. Their cap is sealed and rubber grommets are available as separate part for 5E so I guess I won't bother with 3D printing that involves prototyping. However Acros uses 42x52x7mm upper bearing that are rare (marked as AC4252 or ACB4252H7) and not cheap, but are stainless so no rust problem at all. Maybe I need to look for Orbea of Focus bearings, they use Acros headsets.

Re: Carbonda ACR Headset Fix As I will have two frames to put headsets to so I decided to design cap/spacer prototype. Here it is:

Version with holes will split, so one won't need to cut cables while replacing upper bearing. As both, spacer and cap from Acros are plastic, I think it is more than enough when I print it with carbon infused filament.

Just wanted to say @binaryagent thanks a lot for this post. I’ve just built up a Carbonda 1306a (see post in that topic) and based on your post I chucked the headset upper that came with the frame and put in the Ritchey 1,1/2 to 1,1/8. (Easily sourced here in the UK.) Fits nice and flush. For those interested in this kind of thing it weighed 76g for the 1,1/2 bearing, the adaptor ring to 1,1/8 and the dustcap. The bearing on its own is about 30g from memory

The FSA PDF doc shows the ACR specs for the head tube, bearings, etc.

BrokenTibia took a nice picture (attached) to show the difference in the Carbonda and FSA bearing. You can see why the FSA bearing would sit deeper in the head tube and would be more stable. The bearing retainer above the bearing is what really needs more stability though.
