Re: Carbonda Cfr 1056
I'm in love with the finish! The frame was wrapped with bubble wrap and foam rolls with plastic caps over protrusions. Definitely glad I went with a Carbonda over name brands (which in my country do not even have frames above 54cm). This is a 56cm frame with 110*420 integrated handlebar. I highly recommend FSA headset for the integrated version. Going for Shimano 105 R7020 and Elite-Wheels BWT. Will update with better photos in the near future. Closeup of the BSA86 BB Peering down the headtube. I like the look of EPS molding. The bit coming off near the green QC sticker, I plan to use some clear nail polish. Out of focus shot of the frame in real lighting conditions. Weight of frame+seatpost (1323g) Weight of uncut fork (483g) Weight of integrated handlebars (417g) August 27, 2021, 05:08:59 AM |

jstrawks' Carbonda CFR-1056 build thread
I'm going to document my build. Here are some weights, and a shot of the frame on the build stand. This will be a slow build because my groupset is on back order till Christmas, my wheels and tires haven't arrived, and I may not decide on a stem length till the last. Re: Carbonda Cfr 1056
Just got my bike back from the mechanic. She was impressed with the cost and look of the 1056 to say the least. My new enve wheels will be here in a couple hours and my dt swiss wheels will be here tomorrow. Then I have to wrap the bars and then will be road ready. Don't mind my reverse mullet situation haha it was the only combo I had where I could have my brakes be working since the front 700 is setup for 15mm. September 28, 2021, 01:54:47 PM |
