Multiple storefronts for the same vendor Anyone who's been shopping for Chinese bikes and parts will start to recognize that the same companies own several storefronts under different names.

Fair Warning.  Ive had my share of liars and cheats in my dealings domestically and overseas.  But I have never experienced a more deceitful dealing than with Eddy and haidelibicycle.  I placed an order for an 831 frame early December.  But after reading all the negative reviews I quickly switched to the 830 frame.  I was assured the size I needed was in stock and the frame will be painted shortly.  After nearly 7 weeks of stalling (frame is being painted .....) I threatened to dispute the payment with paypal unless I received a shipment tracking for my address.  All of a sudden, someone made a mistake and only a black frame was available in my size.  I repeatedly asked to cancel the order and be refunded.  "Oh since you waited, we will send you a gift..." bull$it.   Finally, said in no uncertain terms, I was done with haidelibicycle and no longer want anything to do with them.  Eddy said refund was on the way.  Guess what no such refund or any acknowledgment.  I did file a dispute with paypal and provided the 10 pages of correspondence with Eddy (or whatever is his real name).  I dont know what will become of my payment.  Disregard this warning at you own expense.

I didn't post all over that Seraph was a fraud and bad actors for not sending me a frame and refunding me 63 days later (I was curious, so I checked)?  No, I actually just finished building up a Seraph GR044 frame - because shit happens.  Again, just a difference in expectations where some people just want way more out of throwaway money to a market where customer service isn't part of the experience.
 
Yes, yes you have.  I do hope that you get refunded quickly without having to go back to PayPal.  I've had mostly good luck but some bad thrown in like the constant tinkering with the AM831.  Sales process was smooth, end product is passable but could be better as I'm sure you are aware.  Hope this snap in your luck stops here...  Otherwise keep your post handy so you can replace the reseller name with your next new account.

Cybrsrce I think this is part of the problem, to you it is throw away money.  To many others here it is money that they have still had to work hard and save for.  Just because it is cheaper than over priced named branded products doesn't mean it isn't someone's hard earned that has been handed over.

LCFS 958 update. Problems Hi All,

Finally built up my 958. I have ridden it twice. The bushings in the rear linkage keep falling out. There is too much space between the frame and the rear triangle. There are no bearings as described by the lightcarbon website.

I have reached out to lightcarbon and they have at least been replying. Hopefully they will resolve the matter. I am concerned that my frame has been compromised from bouncing around on the bolt.

Anyone else have this issue?

Hi,

I'm considering selling my LCFS947 (M, matte black), please message me, if interested.

I love this frame, but I also joined the AM831 group buy and the 2 frames are really quite similar.
In my opinion the 947 is stiffer and more robust (also does not have the triangle linkage problem).
I'm short and light (5'7", 144) and the 831 is a tad easier to manage in tight corners, that's why I settled on that (plus it came in a flashy baby-blue color :)

The frame is in very good condition ridden less than 300 miles, with few cosmetic scratches and no major crashes on it.
I have Fox Float DPS Evol shock on it, which I can also sell with the frame.

I have. You ignore any emails mentioning a warranty issue I send to you even after I provided proof. You said you need to talk to “engineers” and didn’t respond for 3 weeks. Then instead of replacing the damaged frame due to factory defects, you said you will give me a discount on the new rear triangle but with your “discount” and shipping I will be paying more than another member here who purchased at full price and paid shipping when it was more expensive. It comes out to $260 total with no paint. I checked and the other member stated they paid 270, with paint.

Also please stop acting like there was no issue. Otherwise you wouldn’t develop a new rear triangle. Moulds and production cost money and you are clearly very money hungry , so I doubt you would waste it on a new rear triangle if it wasn’t needed. The rear seat stays flex and the bearing has too much movement connecting the rear triangle to the upper link. If you want to keep pretending like nothing was wrong , feel free to read through the last half of this thread to learn more about it. I’m sure you will also come across the comments of people who you told would be receiving a frame with updated new rear triangle but didn’t

Hi Eddy,

I just sent you an email. I emailed you before but you just replied trying to sell me a new triangle. But you never addressed that you sent me a defective frame that has a problem with the bolts and bushing moving.

For your reference, the email I sent is below:

When I put my hand and I can move it and It makes a clicking noise and see where the bushing is moving. The bolt is fully tight. It  it should not do this. What can you do to help fix it? It is defective. Asking me to to pay for new triangle is not appropriate. The product is flawed. Please advise.
