Not that I'm aware of. At $499 + shipping it's a solid deal as is, and probably not much "room" for discounts. Then again I could be wrong...

I was never really comfortable with the bike after the headset issues. Decided to change with either the Acr or the Superbox, decided for the Superbox because of the option running a semi integrated solution for for easier bike maintenance and travelling with the bike. The post from Liter took me over the line.

Happy with the result so far, everything sits tight.

I honestly don't know, used the existing bearings and the rest that came with the Deda Superbox stem (integrated topcap, headset spacers en topcover for the headtube 56mm & 46mm, D-clip insert.
I saw you can pick them up with big discounts at the moment here in Europe.
Best upgrade to VB-R-177 so far.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-177 Drilled a hole in the bottom of the BB and whenever I ride in the rain I try to leave the bike on the rear wheel so the water also drains from the rear deraileur.

Had a bit of a problem after a long ride last week - the frame was full of water with no obvious way to drain it, and the headset bearings were grinding and making a terrible noise. I took the front end apart and the bearings are totally rusty. I don't have spare hoses and cables to be able to swap them right now so just greased as best I can, and reassembled.

Has anyone else had issues with water ingress? I'd like to drill a hole in the bottom of the BB shell, but this seems like a perfect way to start a crack.

There’s a screw on cover beneath the BB. The frame comes with a Di2 battery holder that can be attached to that BB cover.

I think your question depends on what version of Di2 you will be using.
(I'm basing my assumption on reviews, I have read online & YouTube's etc. I don't own a Di2 as yet)

The older Di2 7xxx series had the box under the handlebar
The newer 2022 revisions have the charging port in the back of the bike (rear derailleur)

Right now the newer R7100 105 seems to be the best value for money with dual 2032 cells in the shifters and a much better battery life

Re: Velobuild VB-R-218 The frame does not have a port in the downtube. Just like the current Dogma F. So you would have to get a handlebar junction box. I don’t know however if this handlebar is compatible with Shimanos bar end junction box. Maybe someone else has built this thing with Di2?

This frame does not have the access port on the downtube as in the Dogma
If you post the groupset version you are using with a link to the tech specs, someone may be able to better help you.

Shimano has moved the "brains" of the system from the box to the rear derailleur (per my understanding), so posting more info about which one you are using or planning to buy will clear up any confusion

Very nice Dogma in the pix....is that yours ?

I've built a frame with wired Di2 and the bar end Junctionbox, no problems besides the internal/eternal routing headache :)
