Reply from justin, This for the SC-R48D? Different geometry aside, the SLC 2.0 Disc costs 1580 USD... The quotes are kind of all over the place though. One guy said 675 USD for a SC-R48V while another guy is asking 550 USD for his barely used second hand SC-R48D. Advice sought - The large will be longer by about 7mm than your TCR. The reach measurement is taken at a higher stack. This probably is something you can manage either with a shorter or narrower bar, but something to keep in mind. In terms of setting up the right saddle position the large is a better fit too for you as its more similar to the TCR and the 266 D SL comes with a zero offset post. August 28, 2025, 11:08:43 PM |

Interesting... Anyone know of a good alternative direct mount UDH? Wheel MFG has one that's not crazy priced, unlike the Silca and Frames and Gears. There are also some on Aliexpress for $30. Honestly, at S1250 incl. shipping and duties, the Permeants pricing isn't terrible given that it looks like it comes with a few extras I didnt get with my frame. September 01, 2025, 10:58:31 PM |

At work and just realised I didn't measure the id of the seats to determine whether 51.8/9/52 od bearing would best fit. Anything 52mm to 51.8 mm is considered compliant with the IS52 standard for headsets. I would get the 51.8mm since that is what the official spec is. Alisa confirmed that it should be 40 x 51.8 x 8mm（36°/45°). I am 90% sure that it's also the correct bearing, as I checked, and that the difference is just hard to see due to the curvature of the crown race. I still plan on doing this later today. OK, so tried out a few bearings. The 45° ones sit higher on the crown race. I think this indicates to me that the 36° is the correct bearing, as it's the bottom edge, not the top edge of the chamfer, that's limiting the wrong size bearing. My grease trick didn't work as well as I had hoped. That said, the bike visually looks the same from the outside with the 40x52x7mm 45°/45° vs. 40x51.8x8mm 36°/45° The one that is obviously wrong is 40x52x8mm 45°/45°. I am going to assume that Alisa's information is correct and that the headset parts some of you received were incorrect. Just need to cut the steerer tube and it’ll be fully dialed in. I’ve only managed one ride so far, but like others have noted, I’m very impressed for the price point. The bike feels very nice to ride, responsive, snappy.
