Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts I bought this frame the other day.
It size is M and I am 177 cm tall.
I also had it painted.

It uses Shimano / Sram mix components, SR Suntour 120mm boost fork and SR Suntour trunnion mount 165mm x 40mm R shock units.
The wheelset is hand assembled by me, XT hubs and Carbon Rims.  And It equipped GIANT dropper seatpost 125mm.
The bike weight is just 12 kilograms without pedals, and bottle cage.

There was no major problem with the assembly.
The assembly work went very smoothly.

I haven't ride on the trail yet, but I'm going to the trail on February so I want to write my impressions.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts
My frame is on the way!  So excited for the build!
Lovely colour! Love the glitter! How much did it cost for the 2 tone? :)

$125 for the paint.  Two weeks from paying invoice to frame shipping.

Re: Carbonda fm936 Thoughts Colt, I expect it's fine!

Frame shipped today! I wanted the same colour (glitter purple) as Zilcho but covering the whole frame. something was lost in translation so they've painted it half black and half glitter as zilcho!  @Zilcho - I'm really sorry mate!

I don't mind plus they'd already shipped it, so I'll not tell them anything, and not factor it into any feedback I post online. I'll put some skins on top of the black area so it won't look the same and Zilchos!

I started this build thinking I'd put a Rockshox gold 35, Shimano SLX, cheap alu rims but the budget has crept and now I'm going for SID 120mm and XT with BTLOS carbon 29mm internal rims. Thought to myself, if I'm going to race on it, might at wel buy the parts once rather than twice when I realise I need a bit more from the bike.

Re: Carbonda FM909
Which yellow colour is it? RAL 1016?
I ordered RAL 1026 twice, and which one I actually received is unknown))

Re: Mullet shifting for gravel Yep! a dozen of them.
Started with the SRAM etap HRD first gen 11sp, with a 40T garbaruk ring and a 11/36 cassette.
Then with AXS Red and Force shifters, with Rival ones at the end of this month.
And AXS Eagle XX1, X01 and now GX derailleurs.
Usually with a 46T ring round or 44 oval and 10/50 or 10/52 cassettes.
Even one with an AXS Reverb, hitting both shifter pads to trigger it.

A friend went with a mechanical 12sp Eagle derailleur and the Gevenalle lever.
But in this case you need to check where the shifter cable exit the frame.
Road/Gravel bikers have the cable exit at the very end of the seatstay/chainstay.
While an MTB derailleur is designed for a cable exit below the chainstay, forcing you to an unusual hose path to the derailleur.
Here is a good set of options: https://bikepacking.com/gear/guide-to-mullet-drivetrains/

Re: Carbonda Gravel Carbon frame CFR707 Finally I was able to build the two chameleon colored 707, mainly for parts availability, and... lack of time.
Here is the first one with:
Rival AXS shifters, Force crank, GX AXS rear derailleur.
With a CGB01 handlebar with FSA ACR stem.
And Lightbicycle wheels.

There wasn't any problem to report for the build.
Carbonda's quality at its best.
I didn't weight it, but it just feels heavier than I thought it would be.

Re: Carbonda FM909 My FM909 frame in size "M" weight 1874gr.
Maybe Carbonda update the weights!?
Actual weight of my xc/marathon built is
9,40 kg including pedals and dropper post.

Re: Carbonda Gravel Carbon frame CFR707 I used a Shimano Dura-Ace SM-BB-R9100 bottom bracket. It was only a little more expensive than the Ultegra one and slightly lighter. The bearings are smaller so I don't know how long it will last with the way I ride this bike, so I may step down to Ultegra next time.

I'm using the GRX cranks as well. The frame uses a standard 68 mm BSA threaded bottom bracket, so there are lots of choices.

Re: FM1002 / FM1166 - 150mm frame After a few tweaks and set up changes (the ODI grips from AliExpress went straight in the bin after the first ride), finally got my small FM1002 how I want it.

I was concerned the reach of the small would be too little for me at 172cm, especially given the steep seat angle. But it feels very nice after some bar roll adjustments.

This is in an orange (YS7192) and Rainbow. The paint looks amazing (but does chip easily as others have said). Lots of protective tape solves this though!

Re: Carbonda FM909 Still a part or two missing for a new build, but the big one arrived today!  8)
One honorable mention, SRAM is now taking care about the plastic, everything is in cardboard molds.
