Welcome to the Chinertown Classifieds. This section is for members to buy & sell bike-related gear and components.

General Rules

1. Vendors are welcome  
If you're a vendor or brand rep, you're free to promote your frames or components in the "Sales & Classifieds" and "Vendor Discussion & Reviews" sections. Those two areas of the forum are fair game... promote your brand as you wish. If you post outside of those two sections of the forum, your post must add real value, not just act as a sales pitch. Share geometry details, materials & manufacturing insights, or build examples, etc.

2. Bike-related items only 
No off-topic listings. Frames, wheels, forks, drivetrains, accessories.. all good.

3. No trademark or copyright infringement 
Do not list items that feature unauthorized use of logos or branding from other companies. This includes any counterfeit, replica, or rebranded items that could mislead buyers or violate intellectual property laws. These posts will be removed and may result in account moderation.

4. Include full details 
Be clear about price, condition, location, and shipping. Photos are encouraged.

5. Mark your post when sold 
Once your item is gone, please edit the title or add a “SOLD” reply.

Shimano di2 groupsets from aliexpress Hi everyone,

I’m thinking about buying a Shimano 105 Di2 full groupset from AliExpress. It’s quite a bit cheaper than buying it locally here in South Korea. Has anyone here had experience ordering it from AliExpress? Did everything arrive okay, or is it risky?

Sorry if my English isn’t perfect, and thanks in advance for your help!

RE: I ended up ordering the groupset from the Anrancee store on AliExpress. At first, there were some issues when they shipped the goods — the package got blocked at the sorting center, probably because of the battery included in the groupset. The seller was cooperative, though it took him a little time to respond to all my (slightly panicked) questions.

Eventually, they re-sent the package via UPS Express at no extra charge and declared the value as $50, so I didn’t have to pay any customs duties here in Korea. All the parts were genuine, and everything arrived safely in the end. So while there were a few bumps, it worked out well for me.

Welcome to the New Server... If you're seeing this, you are on the new host/server.

Unfortunately, approximately the last 48 hours worth of posts were lost. Sorry about that.. it was planned to be like 12 hours tops and then little unexpected things kept popping up delaying going live with the new server. Definitely a learning experience.

The positive side is that Chinertown is now on a (hopefully!) faster, more reliable, modern server. The SMF version has also been updated to 2.0.19 so we will see if the broken pages, slow downs, and error messages are fixed or not.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Yes, please keep the coupon codes and all coupon talk in the dedicated thread and out of this one. I've pm'd a couple of users to ask but it still persists.

I pinned an existing thread for it but I'll probably just delete it and start an official one myself. You guys can spam your codes in that thread.. add your affiliate codes, whatever.. just don't spam good threads. The coupons do genuinely help some users so if it helps you to post them - cool, but you only get one thread.

I'll go through this thread and delete all the coupon codes and any more that are posted, please report and I will delete them as well.
