Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame What are you thoughts on this compared to the XMCS AERYS:VRT? In general I think they are comparable.
But since Lightcarbon focusses more on budget friendly results, I would expact a pricepoint in the area of 1000 USD compared to 1900 USD of XMCS. With the "penalty" of +100g or so.
In a video of a Youtuber they said, that they want to base their products in the 500-1000 USD range if I remember corrctly.
I will also be on Eurobike (where both Lightcarbon and XMCS will be). There I can share more pictures and details (if not already present by then).

Re: Long Teng / Mondince aero frame FM126 So I had buddy who runs his own private OEM brand through Mondince put me in contact with them earlier this week. Truthfully I never really heard of Mondince until this forum. And nothing but high remarks from my friend. This was his idea that I connect with them.

Anyway, I'm working on getting a frameset for long term review. My suspicion though is the frame probably won't deliver until mid to late Summer. The overall geometry, pricing, and customer feedback of Mondince takes me back to the peak Chinertown years during the pandemic.

Yes I love the natural progression and increased exposure of Far East brands over the years. Of course that comes with price bumps. But I'll always have a tiny place in my heart for those $700-$1000 prices frames that have a history of being well made.

Considering the Quick Pro ER One and Scott Foil RC both weigh 1000g in non-white colors, 1150g for all white is justified.

Re: Lightcarbon LCR020 35c clearance aero frame Just stumbled on new lightcarbon catalog and noticed they added new 61 and 47 size for LCR020. I dont know how many people will care about that big one as much as me, but that is a lot of sizes to chose from for a lot of people, Thumbs up from me for that.
Just wanted to say this is shaping to be pretty much perfect bike for me, that 61 size geo is spot on for me (I would like to see more BB drop and steeper seat tube angle, but that is just nit picking).
So far it look I will be ordering this one as soon as it is available. Good job LightCarbon with this one, so far :).

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. You'd get the quick pro the fastest. You must like their paint jobs. The 20D is a gamble timing wise, you may not get your frame until march, depending on a million things. The vrt is one piece monocoque, the head tube is probably a bit more hourglass shaped, and is probably a bit faster in a wind tunnel. It costs significantly more than the 20D. Neither have had prototyping done with strong riders feedback. I assume they have similar geometries (didn't check the quick pro closely myself because of the paint and logo). If you want a bike yesterday, get the quick pro. If you want it this year, vrt. If you can afford to wait until the winter, the 20D would save you money and is almost guaranteed to put a smile on your face when you ride it. These 3 are very good bikes, buying "the best" realistically simply doesn't matter.

Re: New ICAN A54 AERO FRAME with 35 mm clearance with this "S5" seat tube style, real world STA is maybe about 1-2° steeper then geo chart would suggest, depending on size and seat height.
So I would say even thou STA looks slack compare to normal bikes in reality STA would be much steeper than standard.

I would say this ICAN, XMCS VRT and light carbon LCR020 will have STA much steaper that geo chart would suggest.

I just tried to put geo reference picture to Fusion 360 and tried to align it. This is real STA that came out compare to geo chart in size M.
If someone have experience with this please pitch in If Iam wrong about this, I have never own this kind of geo on a bike, Iam just coming from my basic geometry knowledge :).

So every other bike that has two geo chart seat tube lines and seat tube does not come directly from bb center will be like this, STA much steeper than geo chart. Just another thing to be aware of when choosing a bike :)
