Battery is only 2000mah and mine doesn't last as long as it did but it's been a solid light that is just bright enough to use as illumination, though it's borderline imo and doesn't keep up with lights that are actually designed as headlights such as what you'd see for mtb night riding. Supposed to be 1000 lumens. It is bright enough to illicit complaints from approaching riders and pedestrians so needs to be aimed downwards a few meters in front of you or you'll get yelled at. Instead of adjusting brightness levels it just turns off and on when the button is pressed, also doesn't stay in the slow flash mode when set and i'm not sure if its charging or not. Also the power bank function doesn't seem to work. Lost the QC lottery. They feel to be of reasonable quality and seem to have good battery life. They have a clip mount design that you can slide over like what you'd find on a pen, which meant i was able to mount it to a gap at the back of my helmet and made it the perfect addition to my commuter setup. The white one of the pair i got only had one charge in it and now refuses to stay on. Hey everyone, I’m currently putting together a rain setup for bikepacking and would love some input from folks here. I’m mainly looking for lightweight options that pack down small, since space is quite limited. 1. Rain Jacket What’s your go-to compact rain jacket? I’d like something that fits easily into a jersey pocket or saddlebag but still holds up in sustained rain. It should also have a hood which goes over the helmet. Bonus points if it doesn’t turn into a sauna after 10 minutes. I’ve seen some offerings from RockBros and Santic—any first-hand experiences with those? 2. Rain Pants - Long or Short? Curious what people wear on the bottom during rain. Do you go full-length rain pants, or just stick with shorts and deal with wet legs? I’m debating if long pants are overkill, especially in warmer temps. I saw some lightweight overtrousers on Ali, but not sure if they’re worth it for the occasional shower. 3. There's a massive difference between a rider losing their life vs. what's actually happened here. Re: Geoid PM500 power meter
I tested the PM500 against my Tacx Neo 2T a while ago and posted the results on Reddit and wanted to post the results here as well but had trouble logging in. Anyway, now that I've managed to log in, here are the results. I installed a Geoid PM500 on my gravel bike thinking (hoping) it would offer the performance of the now discontinued Magene P505 at a lower price as the Magene is well proven and I'm happy with mine on my road bike. However, I have not seen much testing of the PM500, so I decided to do a quick and dirty test of mine against my Tacx Neo 2T by comparing the two fit files using compare-the-watts.com Results (with 2 seconds offset and 1second smoothing): Overall  Some low power steps in ERG mode (the slope is the Neo 2T not adjusting resistance fast enough to compensate for me raising the cadence)  Higher power steps in ERG mode  1st 1000+ watt effort in free ride mode  2nd 1000+ watt effort in free ride mode  3rd 1000+ watt effort in free ride mode  Observations regarding the PM500: - Tracks the Neo 2T pretty well overall. - No fumble after 1000+ watt efforts (seems to be the pitfall of many power meters tested by Mr. Lama, including the latest crop of affordable models, unfortunately). - Seems to be more responsive to sudden power increases (always felt the Neo 2T felt "smoothed" compared to my P505 ridden outside). - Several drops in cadence can be seen, but I don't know if it's some sort of glitch, connection issue or the meter picking up drops in my not very smooth pedaling (linked to previous point?), but there doesn't seem to be any corresponding drops in power, weird. - There is a drop in power between the 28th and 30th seconds in the 3rd 1000+ watt effort, but no cadence drop, again, weird (linked with the 2 previous points?). I'm happy with the results, it's close enough to the Neo 2T and doesn't exhibit offset problems after higher power efforts. Installation is very straightforward, just like a Shimano crank, simpler than the Magene PES P505. The most negative point about this power meter (and other Magene spider power meters) is the crank interface, I wish it were Easton compatible. I hope this post was of interest to those shopping for affordable power meters

Looks a lot like a ThinkRider/PowerFun trainer (or at least something from the same design). At US$439 (on their website) and with no cassette included it really needs to offer more than the basic ANT+/Bluetooth smart-trainer feature set. At this price, I’d expect Wi-Fi, automatic calibration and sensor bridging, along with either Zwift virtual-shifting support or its own platform-independent virtual-shifting implementation. ThinkRider and Geoid already offer direct virtual shifting on similarly priced (and even cheaper) trainers. The smart-trainer market has shifted considerably in recent years, and it appears to have caught a number of manufacturers and resellers off guard. Fully featured, proven and reliable trainers are now available for around US$399-499. Based on the specifications alone, the COOSPO T10 feels four or five years late to market at this price. Even if it meets every one of its claimed specifications (which remains to be tested) it still appears well behind the current competition. It would need to be positioned at around US$299, or possibly lower, to gain meaningful traction. I’d happily put one through the Lama Lab Test if I can get hold of one. August 09, 2026, 06:33:56 PM |

Notes: 9 speed and below uses cheaper caliper set at RMB 350 separately. 10 speed and above caliper sets are RMB 361. Pro version and ER_ electronic shifters do NOT use thumb levers. Battery BT-R9001 RMB 280 FD cable CB-R9001-F RMB 85 RD cable CB-R9001-R RMB 95 ERX seems like a CF version of ER9. You can add another RMB 200 to get a big CF jockey cage+wheel with ERX.
