Re: Speeder SC-R48 Here are some pics. It's a nice frame. And since made with EPS, there is no wrinkling and bladder remaining in the frame. Frame weight is including 4 bottle cage bolts and both derailleur hangers (ca. 40g plus ca. 20-30g for clearcoat). Bare frame without paint will be around 810-820g.

From what I’ve seen there are. Local dealer with support, five year warranty, fantastic paint jobs, uci approval and still way cheaper than a big brand frame. Offers discount on package deals with bars and wheels. I believe resell value would be higher also considering mentioned above.

yeah, it has to do with current marketing focus (their recent launches) and how Elves came to be more known over the last year (which has a lot to do with the Falath Evo).
Because the brand itself is already known in China and southeast Asia for years, it's just that the western world (and Australia) got to know it recently

anyway, great looking bike! really beautiful frame, the paintjob is nice, and the build itself is well put together. Glad to hear it rides nice :)
now, any particular reason to keep the 'pillar' adhesives on the spokes?

it's actually just names of Elven people from Tolkien's lore. Vanyar, Eglath and Falath(rim) which the brand decided to exclude the last letters
as someone who is a fan of Tolkien, this brand caught my attention years ago while browsing through Aliexpress ;D

Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame I also just placed an order for this frame, with the new red "ice break" velobuild paint. Super stoked to build a bike with this + Yuanan wheels + 105 Di2 from the pros closet. Will update with photos/comments/a build thread when it arrives!

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this frame after reading this thread.  Communicated with Wendy, and she was very helpful in making some selections with regards to paint, handlebars, and options.   

However, the lead time is quite long.  I wasn't expecting shipping immediately, but she referenced a new mold being made, and shipping isn't estimated until March or end of March.  I ordered end of December.  Just a heads up to anyone considering.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) I emailed LC last night regarding the super light version in size 56. They replied within 3 hours, which was a welcomed surprise. The sales rep was polite, detailed, and it was obvious she was well-informed. All the molds for each frame size are finished, however current production time for a size 56 is one month.

I'm not sure whether or not LC and I will be collaborating as far as video content goes, but the price and initial customer service experience is enough to make me wanna purchase a frameset regardless.
