Re: dcrf26 frame - Scott Foil?
I'm planning a similar 1x build. I assumed a wide crank would be necessary to fit a big chainring (<50)? Probably not. Typically the chainline on the direct mount single rings is wide enough to fit normal dimension chainstays. For instance, Garabaruk varies their chainring offset by size to try get a better chainline. July 12, 2023, 03:49:02 AM |

Re: Seraph Bikes Superlight 836g X68 - Alternative to SL8 Fakes?
in my experience, buying 2 frames, they use only one box (bigger), but the shipping price is adjusted to the volume of the bigger box and the greater weight ... there is still a saving in costs I got an update from TanTan, they can ship 2 frames in one box. shipping costs change from 150$ to 200$. All in all a saving of 53$ per frame February 14, 2025, 02:44:23 AM |

Re: VeloBuild VB-TT-023
Doneeee. Took longer than expected as I fiddled a lot with the cockpit. Very happy overall but the list of wanted/unnecessary updates is long

Re: Winowsports TT-119 - New Disc Time Trial Frameset
I completed a build using this frame for use for IronMan (and other) distance triathlon. I have to say I was absolutely delighted with the quality. No major issues with build at all. You need to pay attention to cable protection through the stem when routing hydraulic brake cables to prevent internal damage/wear with time. I found some simple foam protection online which worked well (also used to prevent noise internally in the frame). September 16, 2025, 04:14:30 AM |

Re: Spcycle New Mold G068 Carbon Gravel Frame
Anybody got tips for mudguards for this frame? Everytime it rains I say to myself "if only I had mudguards" (like that will make me leave the comfort of my own home..).

Re: VeloBuild VB-TT-023
Where did you get that computer tower/ riser? And what aero bars are those, they look sharp? Hi mattgolt, It's a self-designed 3d printed prototype. Attached you can find some photos of the current state. It basicially is a never ending optimisation project. I'm currently quite happy with the BTA setup, but I keep redesigning the grip to find a perfect solution. I'm sorry everyone, I'm not going to share the design of this one due to safety concerns
