Hey Hendie, super cool build, thank you for sharing! AFAIK you're the first person on the english-speaking internet to report building up one of these frames. I was wondering if you'd be willing to share some more info/photos with us, since there isn't a whole lot on Speeder's website. In particular, I'm interested in a head-on view of the fork + head-tube; Speeder's website doesn't have any photos from this angle, even though it's a really crucial area for aerodynamics. I'm also interested in some views of the surface. It looks like you have the matte black finish? Is it that the carbon is clear-coated over, or is it an opaque black paint that covers the carbon, as it appears on Speeder's website? Also, would you also be willing to share any info like build specs and/or frame and fork weights? 7.05kg is mega-lightweight for an aero-disc build, especially with those wheels; I'd be really interested to hear what went into your build.

Re: Riro 24mm axle carbon crankset I have three of them in use. They all are fine. You will probably have to experiment with BB's. I had a Ali BB in my BSA frame and it was too wide. The Shimano BSA BB's are a little narrower and those do fit.

Thinking about getting one on for my new build. The frame has bb86 bb shell and I don't really want to go for a dub crank.
Was looking around for some lighter 24mm axle cranks and could only find this Riro crank and a raceworks one.
Any feedback on how those axles hold up?

Hey mate, I have a Riro at the 50/34 chainring. Has around 500km on it so far, so I cant comment on longevity. No issues installing, I do have a T47-79BB.

Re: Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D) I received my frameset yesterday, took a bit longer than I thought but that's not an issue for me. I'm in no rush and will use the christmas break to build up the bike.

I did a thorough inspection of the frame and fork (including checking inside with an endoscope) and everything looks as close to perfect as I could have hoped. All mounts are faced, there's no overspray anywhere and all parts were included.
The paintjob is absolutely perfect, the initial pictures Jim sent to me (linked earlier in this thread) didn't do it justice, at all.

The saddle clamp mechanism is a bit finicky and caused a moment of frustration, but after a couple minutes the installation of the saddle worked out well enough.

So far, off to a great start.

They say it does fit OD2. The only thing I would have to deal with is the headset cover, since Scott has to make everything proprietary
