Re: Two new Winspace frames coming (soon?)
Far from it, I promise!  :D

Pure coincidence to be honest, I own a T1500 and wanted to check the geometry chart to compare my frame to another one I am interested.

Found out that they do not link to that frameset anymore but the URL can still be found with a quick search.

Then I saved a copy of the T1500 page for future reference and... ended up taking a snapshot of the entire website   ::)

Hours later on another visit I realized that they removed the page with the new frames and decided to share it here  ;)

Ok, cool then :)
Thanks again for the detailed sharing :)

Re: Winspace T1550 Build (NEW 1550 2.0 thoughts) I contacted Winspace about this wedge/di2 battery holder because I also wasn't sure what it was. They gave me this pdf.

Re: chinese carbon saddles
Thanks for your feedback! Glad to read it is holding up to abuse, especially on the MTB. Those pictures of cracked saddles on AliExpress were not so encouraging.

Which of the clones did you get, Ryet or OdinZeus? Not that it matters I guess, since they are both the same... just thinking about the warranty, just in case  ;D

Cheers!

Re: TPU tube for 700x28 wheel Great information! Just to clarify on versions

V1 = black plastic valve - this version was plagued with quality issues. Avoid.
V2 = white/transparent valve - much better than V1. Can be found cheaper than V3 - generally an okay buy
V3 = pink (or black) metal value with replaceable valve core. Best of the 3.

Leaks generally happen around the valve stem if they're going to happen. I've found the defect rate (slow leak out of the box rate) lower with the 36g version than the 24g version (and it's only 12g a tube).

Re: Can we migrate this forum to a modern forum? I'm tired of the broken pages.
Sitar_Ned is the forum's administrator. You can reach out to them via PM or email.

I do support the idea. The software is really dated and things break a bit too often for my taste. Not sure how much capacity they have to actively maintain the forum and/or a migration.

Honestly, not much capacity at all. It's just me and I am in no way a web developer or webmaster. Just a simpleton Arkansas mountain biker that somehow figured out how to get this forum up 10 years ago.

I know the broken pages are annoying... and I am sorry about that... I do try to fix them immediately when they pop up so please do let me know.. I really appreciate it. I do have plans to upgrade to the latest SMF version to fix little issues like that but I'm sorry to disappoint anyone but there are no plans to "modernize" the forum in any way. No desire to have some modern mobile-friendly, super slick, dark mode interface. Chinertown will remain old-school looking with zero ads and zero optimizations for Google search. My main goal going forward is to keep AI out of the forum as much as possible. That's just my jam but I do understand if it isn't for everyone.

That said, I am certainly open and interested to hear everyone's input/advice/ideas and really appreciate it.
