Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame
Wicked @rga19071976 !

Assuming your paint color is silver chameleon, my frameset was shipped out yesterday in the same color. Hoping it delivers by end of March. I'm gonna be blinding mofos when the sun hits  8)
Right, that's the color. It's a blinding machine  :D

Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame
Hi,
I have a question before I shorten the fork. Do I have to leave the fork 5.5mm shorter than the top of the stem to be able to adjust the headset? That seems to be a lot. Am I making a mistake?

That metal lip of the plug is going to sit at the top of the steerer column. You have to cut that steerer so that there's space to compress the whole system. A few mm more won't make a difference, but measure twice cut once, ofc, you do want the stem to clamp on the steerer and not half void...
If that's unclear (it used to be unclear to me), there are YouTube videos that explain everything.

Re: Spcycle New Mold SP-R088 Carbon Road Frame
I am pretty sure that the headset cover that comes with the handlebar needs to be round. It's also the part that attaches to the stem spacers

The elita one sl8 on Ali seems to be coming with 2 different covers. I am waiting for better pictures from the seller.

Yes, the base of the headset cover must be round, but the spacers can also be shaped, and (if it matches well) you can fit any handlebar.

Re: Seraph Bikes Superlight 836g X68 - Alternative to SL8 Fakes?
Anyone else having problems with the battery holder?

It prevents the seat post from going in all the way and it gets stuck when taking out the seat post which says to me that the clamping from the holder to the seat post is absolutely shit.

You can have a look at this type B battery holder :

It is expensive for what it is but it works perfectly on a SL8 seatpost. However, I am not sure how it will fit for the x68 seatpost.

Re: Spcycle New Mold SP-R088 Carbon Road Frame
Today I finally received the frame. Almost two months. The point job was really good.

The seller did not include spacers for the headset and rubber gaskets for the holes for the  wire housings. Is this correct?

And does anyone know the torque spec for the udh?

Congrats! Did you get the frameset only? If yes, no rubber gaskets were provided and no spacers for headset. More importantly, did you get a flat or concave rear thru axle hole on the non-drive side? That will determine if you need multiple thru axle washers or not.

Re: TAN TAN X67
- Seatpost doesn't hold, Tantan says 8-10 Nm but even with 12 Nm, Carbon Paste and alloy foil from can, it slips. I need to find a solution.

I’ve had great luck putting a piece of clear bra/PPF on the seatpost whenever they keep slipping
