Hi everyone, I'm planning to build up a new bike that I want to bring in under the 7kg mark (including bottle cages and pedals). I'm very interested in the Evolve Cima, but the price is still a bit of a deterrent for me. Are there any frames in the €1,000–€1,500 range that offer comparable build quality, feature a UDH, are similarly lightweight (in the 700g range for an unpainted size M frame), and offer custom paint options—as well as the possibility of omitting the original branding? Transition from Spacer to stem looks a little bit weird? But Just my 2 Cents.FSA no55r (either standard or low stack version) headset or no69 (external cables). I used no69 as I have Zeno hydraulic couplers and this was easiest for me. People agree not to use Long Teng headset. It's cheap and some say not good. A good option for one piece handlebar (in my experience) but not on this bike is the Bigrock Skyline it has good size availability, cheap enough with codes on AliExpress, and is FSA ACR compatible. You might want to look at the Speeder and Light Carbon options as they are cheap enough and FSA compatible I think from what I have read. May 15, 2026, 08:02:46 AM |

My build is 6.1 kg with all bottle cages, pedals, garmin and varia mounts. Bike is really great, both on flats and in the mountains. I went through this entire thread and I think I will be picking up this frame. I ride mostly gravel but would like a road bike for long long road rides, this frame ticks many boxes. I intend to use this as more of a endurance ride and not a slammed racer. Going with size a L after comparing the numbers on with what i currently ride ( i measure 5.10 feet ) https://geometrygeeks.bike/compare/rodeo-labs-flaanimal-5-0-2020-56-cm,longteng-ltk266-d-sl-2025-l/ for anyone interested. I was hoping to have anyone could chime in on M vs L sizing since i am kind of between. Other take aways from reading: 1. Ditch the included headset and get a FSA N.55 2. Sugru for the holes 3. T47 85.5 internal 4. aprotobike for a seat post cover 5. possibly having to brake posts ? 6. as of 5/2026 I am expecting to cost 850-950 usd shipped Anything else I should be aware of for a painless build? What stuff i need to order for a Clean Cockpit with the ltk 266?One option is FSA no55r headset with Bigrock Skyline handlebar with FSA ACR adapter spacer. I do this setup on my LTK268D. It would work on the LTK266DSL. You should be able to use any one piece handlebar with the FSA no55r headset, as long as the handlebar is compatible with FSA ACR spacers.
