Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame
Yeah, it's often like that. Why the hell would I be interested in the unpainted weight? Because matte paint is lighter than gloss, that a single coat is lighter than several colours with decals? Factories either advertise unpainted weight, or matte black weight. March 29, 2024, 08:33:04 AM |

Re: Pinarello (Chinarello) Dogma F12 build
Some updates. The included lower headset bearing lasted less than 3500km. Bike have now 5500km in total. Will switch to 30mm Continental GP5000 S TR from 25mm and see how it handles. F frame instead of F12 frame would be fun to try. May 06, 2024, 05:09:11 PM |

Re: Velobuild VB-R-218
Got some new shoes for the purple bike. I asked the seller to ship without PCW branding but these are what showed up. I will likely remove the decals eventually.

Re: Velobuild VB-R-218
Since this thread is back from the dead, I thought I might as well give an update. More than 8000k done. No issues. Still the first headset with no signs of wear which is a pleasant surprise. I wasn’t too confident in those bearings. This is the bike with the race wheels on: 60mm deep/1300g with 28mm tubulars. These feel soo nice when accelerating and the cornering feel is insane. I’m still in love with the handling of this frame and the super quick steering response.

Re: WheelTop EDS TX Full Wireless Groupset (Chinese SRAM)
Qn for the wheeltop users here. Is it working with the bike computers that you are using? There are videos showing it working with igpsport and displaying both gearing and battery life. What about others like Garmin/wahoo/hammerhead? May 11, 2024, 03:45:40 PM |

Re: Airwolf Madone
Hey all new to the forum. Have looked at the Airwolf site and all the frames they now have SLR Gen 7 no they have the 8, and the dogma and SL8. Not sure how they get away with it so blatantly on there own website, even if they do not have logos This is the company behind Airwolf Shenzhen Yaoflying Sport Component Co maybe they do do OEM but likely they would loose business. However there geometry chart also shows CAD of the carbon layup of the frame. Anyone with an SL8 Airwolf August 02, 2024, 06:44:11 AM |

Re: VeloBuild VB-R-268 frame
Has anyone considered or tried a SL7 transition cover instead of the supplied VeloBuild cover? October 01, 2024, 11:15:16 AM |
