Re: My TanTan TT912 build
I still need to revisit the Versa BTA plate. its rocking against the arm cup, making annoying noises. i will probably swapped the armcup to the ones on my Controltech aerobar kit on my TCR(currently the bolt is siezed). swapped to my old tcr giant approach saddle, since its lower stack. i may be in market for a short-nose saddle as my aliEx Pro Stealth saddle base getting soft n saggy btw, this frameset used Sram UDH style hanger. I finally got the bike completed, minus the temp crankset im a lil afraid to do bike photoshoot since its like a flag/sail, can topple at anytime when theres wind Frame: TanTan TT912 size52 + IceCrack blue paintjob Stem: TanTan alu stem 100mm Basebar: TanTan HB096 400mm Aero extension: TanTan HB086 44° + 80mm w/ 15° angled riser Brake lever: Tektro TL720 Saddle: Giant Approach (from tcr) Crankset: 105R7000 170mm (from tcr) Chainring: 50/34T (from tcr) PM: xcadey xpower2 left crank 170mm (from tcr) BB: ztto bb386-24 normal bearing Shifter: Microshift BS-A11 RD: 105R7000 SS Cassette: 105R7000 11-28 Wheelset: Parcours Chrono 77/86 Rotors: 140mm MT-RT900 Caliper: Onirii BR005 mechanical Looks awesome, well done!Currently im still on 28mm gp5k front n back. once the rear worn out, definately gonna fit in 32mm. the cockpit felt a lil better now with the bartapes. Since i already have the frame, folks can just AMA Really great to see updates on this, the price of TT bikes at the moment is painful. I would love to know the actual weight of this and if you manage to sort the rattling / things getting loosein SG even 2nd hand tri bike market going at silly price for the age of the bike. my build(minus parcours wheelset) literally can get almost 2 new speedmax cf7 105 mech. the headset rattling issue was sorted with the micro spacers that i forgot. tomorrow i'll weight the bike edit: it weights 10.3kg equipped as in pic. bta not yet attached. heavy AF. i did considered a lightweight build ala Sebastian Kienle Norseman Tri scott foil tt-cockpit, but decided to go proper tri frame geo March 23, 2024, 11:21:42 AM |

Seraph TanTan TT913 Tri frame just announced
So yesterday i just saw the TT913 posting. I never seen this one before. It looks like prev gen Plasma5 front end and Plasma6/new foil rear end. it looks different than tt001 and tt912 https://youtu.be/3Bu07-ycYyc?si=v2EOHQn9C60tyvDD edit: add web link to specs https://www.tantanbikes.com/full-carbon-fiber-internal-cable-disc-time-trial-triathlon-bike-frame-tt913-t47-thread-tt-bicycle-max-tire-700x28c-p5589271.html April 11, 2024, 11:32:03 PM |

Re: Winowsports TT-119 - New Disc Time Trial Frameset
Received yesterday. Overall pretty impressed with the weight and paint job. Definitely better than I could've done myself. Came with a Profile Design bento box, 43asc clone extensions. Seatpost includes a 10mm thru rail. Basebar was 400mm and appears reversible. Included riser bolts mandate using every riser spacer. Will work out thread pitch and length and update tomorrow when I order extras. Routing exits bars into the stem then down through the top tube, 3T/Cervelo style. Maximum seatpost insertion is ~110mm due to the wheel cutout; if your saddle height is <810mm from centre of the BB cutting it down will be mandatory. April 28, 2024, 06:00:20 PM |

Re: Winowsports TT-119 - New Disc Time Trial Frameset
Info for anyone else who may be purchasing. Spacer bolts are M5, I bought sets in 20mm increments from 40-100mm from Bolt Depot for <$10 to play with pad height. I believe the spacers are compatible with the PD A3A riser kit, but have yet to order and check -- still getting other aspects of the fit dialed. Some niggles: - the hardware holding the arm rests / clamping the extensions is incredibly soft. I recommend replacing it right away. - had to sand down the seatpost to allow for movement within the seattube - bottle cage mounts are too far down the downtube to mount a standard bottle cage. Even with a sideloader the rear wheel cut out is too large to allow the bottle to sit flush. Might be fixed on larger sizes, but if even a 54 is too small I doubt it. Using a Wolftooth B-Rad to move it farther up the downtube for now, and planning to try the Cervelo aero bottle, which looks like it may clear. - Stem clamps from only one side and has a weak hold on the steerer. Needs to be torqued to 6-7Nm or it still wants to turn. Going to try adding some carbon paste and see if that helps. May 17, 2024, 12:36:29 PM |

Re: VeloBuild VB-TT-023
Here are some pictures of the cockpit, it has a decent amount of adjustability in my opinion. Unfortunately there are mounting holes on the top tube for extra hydration or bento box, maybe this can be added in the future.

Re: VeloBuild VB-TT-023
I also ordered this frame a few weeks ago, still waiting for it to arrive. I also asked them to add some bento box rivets to the top tube which they said yes to, so that's an option. Yes, there are holes underneath the extensions for di2 cables and you have to route through the stem. August 27, 2024, 03:47:39 PM |

Re: VeloBuild VB-TT-023
1st proper ride with the VB-TT-023 today Bike is truly stiff, broke alot of PR’s today on a route that i havent been on for several months. Considering that this is my first time on a TT bike, i am truly happy with the frame and my build, no issues on a 63 mile ride with 1k feet of elevation, i completed the ride in 3:06.22 averaging 20.1mph on 204watts. Re: Replica Factor Ostro VAM
You should make a list with good/bad sellers for us . Well from 1st hand experience alone, and this is not meant to be an exhaustive list, but I've never had problems with Far Sports, Peter (Xiamen Carbon Speed), and Long Teng. I think Chris from Velobuild is also doing a pretty good job given I suspect they track everything by hand with an excel if not a notebook (given their scale they could use an ERP). I wouldn't buy a frame from Airwolf but i'm very happy with their cockpits (allegedly T1000), which you can find on Aliexpres (on that, a friend just broke one, but he crashed at high speed because of a cat (i love that story, i dont like cats), so i dont think that means they're bad, just that well, if you crash, you can break stuff - earlier in the year he crashed in a descent and broke his front wheel). If you can avoid it, dont buy stuff from Racework. I have mixed feelings about Winow. And definitely, definitely don't give your money to First-Class Carbon Fiber Store...
