Re: Magene P505 PES Base Spider Powermeter
Magene are now saying that the P505 won't work with a T47 (or BB386 evo) bottom bracket.

Does anybody know why? Has anyone tried it? I'm hoping to use one with a T47 BB on a gravel bike (1X).

I think that it would be because the spider itself comes back slightly over the BB shell. I think I have read that the XCadey has the same issue as well. This image shows you what I mean:

I expect (though I can't confirm) that it would only cause issues with T47 internal. With T47 external there should be enough space for the spider to come back over the BB cup (whereas on internal that space isn't there). There's some reported issues on Reddit with the Trek Domane and the Trek Emonda of it rubbing against the frame because of that lack of space (note those are both T47 internal).

This is probably only an issue on some BB386 and T47 frames, but out of caution I assume they've said that it's generally not compatible.

Yes, I have no issues on my frame with T47 internal BB, but clearance is minimal, so I expect some frames would be problematic: https://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,4952.msg60729.html#msg60729

Re: Tideace NEW Gravel Frame: GR201 Yeah, it's weird, see here:

In fact, I see they are now claiming both T 47 and BB386 are incompatible.

From googling a bit, it seems like an issue with certain frames perhaps?

When I first saw this I also found some cases of successful installation nonetheless. I was looking into it because I have a gravel frame on the way with a T47 and was planning on using my PM with it. Hopefully it will work anyway.

Re: Tideace NEW Gravel Frame: GR201
Interesting. I asked if I could have no fork mounts, they could only offer to use rubber plugs instead. Anyway, I've order low profile titanium bolts that should look a bit better.

It is okay, you can contact eddy.

Re: Tideace NEW Gravel Frame: GR201
I'll take measurements later but I think it will fit a 2.2 no problem.

Pictures in the first post here show measurements of the clearance.  Smallest is 66mm.  With reasonable clearance (6mm a side?) something like 2.1" should fit comfortably.  2.2" may be stretching it a bit.  It would be good to see what you get in your measurements, though.

BTW, those wheels are awesome.  Oh, and where did you get those bungs?

Re: LTWOO eGR
It looks like you still have the B-link there. Doesn't that just make it a hanger (maybe a slightly longer one) rather than direct-link?

Oops, good catch. I took that photo as I was trying different set ups, and yes, you're right - this made it basically a longer hanger which actually helped accommodate this cassette and I might stick with this set up.
