Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! Depends. The Magene chain rings aren't bad but nothing to write home about either. For 60 USD I'd probably give them a pass and either use my Shimano rings from the crank I have at home or get some Stone/PassQuest rings instead.

Re: Interesting Aliexpress finds! - good deals, interesting stuff, new products etc! A feedback re: the new Aero Goldix chainrings. I ordered these Goldix 50/34, Stone 50/34 and Passquest 46/33 simultaneously and were all delivered same day (last Sunday).
The Goldix rings are cheapest at $33~ but also the worst quality. I can flex it with little effort.

Stone and Passquest on the other hand are extremely stiff and wouldn't flex at all. They are also more than double the cost of Goldix. I expect Goldix to wear out much faster and shifting to be subpar. The only saving grace is they look great!

Re: Magene P505 PES Base Spider Powermeter Yes, both are the "new" bolt. It's not really new, they are shipping it like this since 1 year at least. Don't think the "one bolt" system does even exist anymore.

Hi, am in need for some new rotors. currently still on the stock shimano SM-RT70. can you please recommend which to take, these or the "old" IIIPro ones mentioned a few post up. I ride mostly hills, so theres a bunch of long descends.

thanks

New IIIPro rotors are good. All my riding is also hills and fast descents. They replaced my Onrii rotors which were about 10g lighter, but they didn't bite as well on the downhill.

Re: Chinese cycling clothes I’m 179/75 and use a L. Got muscly thighs but they fit well. Haven’t thought of them being too tight.

Re: Chinese cycling clothes I'm 187cm/85kg an I also prefer L. XL was too loose for me, given I don't have the thickest thighs. If you got thinner thighs, you might want to even consider trying an M.

Re: Magene P505 PES Base Spider Powermeter
Hey guys, one quick question... as I am about to install new chainrings (Ultegra), how long do the bolts need to be? 9mm? Whats the correct torque? Don want to break it too soon again.

Original Shimano bolts work fine of course, they have a thread length of about 10mm.
I use titanium bolts on my P505 with a thread length of 9.2mm.
