I personally wouldn't bother going shopping for bike stuff in shanghai but sbelltote's advice is pretty spot on. XDS have stores around the city, giant and a few other stores carry pardus and im not sure where stocks camp and sunspeed but they will be around. Bikesoul carry high end stuff but might have some chinese frames and completes too. Theres another shop called club100 but ive never been in thenshop so im not sure what they stock. If you have a day to kill then you could go to ridenow cycle club(bike shop and also founders of no.6 wheels) and rent a bike for the day. They organize club rides almost every day of the week so you could ask to join or go for a ride around shanghai yourself. You can add them on wechat @RideNowKen. Ridenow are the most foreigner friendly of the clubs in shanghai and everyone will speak fluent english. If you go into the shop and introduce yourself im sure they will take care of you. Club100 and bikesoul organize group rides as well so you can ask them too I mean you could go buy a frameset, but you'd have to transport it somehow. Ive been to Disneyland Shanghai three times. KABON Folding Bike - Roadie Build
For the lack of folding bicycle category, I have decided to post here since the build is steered towards road bike build. I bought a Kabon T800 carbon fiber folding bicycle for commuter recently to replace my existing BXT Carbon folding commuter. However, my evil mind decided to build an aero folding bicycle that not only can commute but go fast. When I looked around home for existing components, an Ultegra R8100 crankset with Stages G3 left crank vs Xcadey DUB carbon crank, BBs, spare Sensah Empire Pro (12s) and Sunshne SL 12T-32T, carbon road handlebar are available. So it was quickly decided to put a roadster together. So here are intial pictures of the first build based on what I have being put together. Originally I had installed the Xcadey powermeter but the BB bearing was atrociously unsmooth so I changed it out. Parts and all are entirely from Aliexpress which includes brakes, rotors, cables and housing, steering saddle. The bike came originally with an ally aero seatpost that weighed at a whopping 544 grams. So I had it replaced with the carbon version at a diet weight of 385 grams. Current build is 8.85 kg with stock Aliexpress carbon 451 wheelset and IRC Jetty Plus 20x1-1/8" tires. I have purchased a carbon steerer column which came with M23 locknut otherwise it would have reduced the weight to 8.55 kg. It is not compatible with the fork nut size with is a M20 so a replacement has been ordered which is en-route. Will update again once all the modifications are complete. Interesting! Makes you wonder... Is it just a sticker, or did they OEM for Reserve? With the recent behavior of tantan, i'm thinking, maybe they were just Reserve stickers on unbranded rims? Quite a sad day guys, I think they will not continue the Indiegogo and TBW(which I assume it's China's fundraising site similar to Indiegogo). They said that they will still continue to build the model in the near future. Sad for the backers and future backers which includes me. Well back to the drawing board for me again, so LCR017D or SCR-55D? Or any other suggestions? Hold on, where did they say that? I wanted to back it at the end of the month

cant find the post re fake components connecting to etube - but def think others have commented on the existence of fake groupset components in cirrculation on AliX - eg from this well known vlogger here :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhZV7R44W5s Yeah DurianRider is definitely a trusted source for sure. Just need to cut the steerer tube and it’ll be fully dialed in. I’ve only managed one ride so far, but like others have noted, I’m very impressed for the price point. The bike feels very nice to ride, responsive, snappy.
