Re: Magene P705
It seems that Magene is rather quick when presenting new parts on bike shows. In 2023 the pedals where displayed in China and even some carbon cranks that have still to surface on the market. It's quite the opposite. I respect Magene that they want the product to be 100% ready. Totally different approach then other craps companies like ltwoo or some wheel manufacturers who are testing products on "live consumers" August 30, 2024, 03:07:24 AM |

Re: SL8 Replica Build
hey, yes peter was the seller. everything is within my expectations, if you could buy the original headset from specialize, i'd say do that. i find that headset from replica frames/or even chinese OEMs are made from injection molding with poor QC. different colors, visible flashes and sometimes the spacers don't stack up properly. also the maximum spacers allowed is 35mm without including the transition spacers. peter only gave me 25mm worth of spacers. the internals are not silky smooth but nothing out of tolerances. handlebar is pretty good, relatively easy to route the brake cables the supplied di2 holder is not that good, i had to use electrical tape to wound up the insert point to ensure the battery don't come out. i did not have any issues with brake mount facing, no brake rubs October 04, 2024, 11:45:32 AM |

Re: Best TPU tube brand
I've been using a pair of RideNow 24g TPU tubes with clear plastic valve stems in a pair of 28c tyres. They've been great, they hold air really well. Note that they're only designed for max 28c tyres. On another bike I use the RideNow all-road tubes with clear plastic valve stems - the 39g ones for 28c-38c tyres. Same great experience with these. Previously I used the Offbondage 40g tubes with black&silver coloured valve stems, again no issues. The only TPU tubes I've had issues with are:
