Try to find some used parts if you want to keep the cost down...
LOL, even as I put them on the list I was saying no to myself, but I'm going to be adding another $200 at least for used stuff. I agree with you nonetheless.
Changed out to the SRAM Guide RSC - any thoughts on these? Seem to get good reviews from what I've read.

I asked Steven @Pro-Mance via email and he confirmed there is clearance in the M7007-II frame
You should ask for drawings of the bikes that you evaluate (rear triangle). Even if they state 2.3 the clearance might be minimal...
I posted the updated drawings in an earlier post above which show clearance for 2.3

Long time lurker, first time posting. I'm thinking of a Pro-Mance M7007 build and would like this group's input on these build specs:

« on: March 14, 2019, 11:33:50 AM »I am also considering these two frames but my concern is the tire clearance. According to Steven at Pro-Mance it is impossible to fit a 29x2.3 (or even a 29x2.25 Rocket Ron) tire when using 12x142 through axle in their frame? Anyone tested?
Is it the same with CS-FS029?

Are you sure? He sent me new drawings of the frame (see attached) and they show clearance for 2.3"
