Thanks for the comments.
The paint quality looks actually good in the frame, the details are bad im tue complicated parts, not a lot of time and pride was put into it, but the BB and headtube look according specs and the BB cover will not show the bad finishing.
Also the internals are very nicely finished, this does not come into pics otherwise I would share.
So I think the frame is well done, but they rushed whilr appling the protecting tape and removing it etc…
I agree a brand puts more quality in the paint job.

What can I expect from them raising my concerns? Any experience with that?

The weight I was expecting less for a 48.5 size I think they were too generous with paint thickness, which is also lack of paint skills.

I will press the BB later this week and let‘s see…
If it is not good it goes to Hambini  ;D XD

Inside part of the fork, where the thru axel seats, unpainted.
Where the break seats is also not really perfect, I will sand a bit.
BB not really nice either.
Headseat and seatpost fine.

Amazing marble effect with just clear coat. If I could go back in time I would order that instead black glossy paint, and save also some gramms. I would like to see it under the sun, it mus look amazing, nice stuff.
So mine looks as attached.
Paint quality is good but i will add in the next post some flaws in taping and finishing.

Weights:
Frame (size 485) with hanger and bolts: 1035gr.
Fork: 394gr.
Handlebar 370/95: 394gr.
Seatpost: 176gr.

Consider the Velobuild CX-02. It seems it has a roadbike geometry, aero features and with wider tire clearance. I am still considering it as second bike, but I have an indestructible Giant TCX I love…

Hi,
I had no idea they do not send to Germany anymore. Why?
My frame arrived to Germany on the 24th od Dec but I had left already for Xmas vacation.
DPD left it on my stairs and had to contact the neighbour to store it until the 9th on January.
I will post pics and weights once I am back… looking forward already.

Same here. Funny enough, I asked about the production status a couple of days ago. They told me "all as planned", shipping planned on Jan 6th... and today they shared by e-mail the XDB label, it has been shipped. Either the production plant and the office are disconnected or they got some orders cancelled and reassigned the stock, not sure what to think.

It might arrive in a couple of weeks, but if it is not quick I will not be able to check it, since I will be gone for Xmas.

Size 48.5 for me. Sram Red AXS Group and Light Bicycle AR45 DISC Flyweight rims with DT240s have been ordered during Black Friday for the frame  :)

I kept my old CX bike (Giant TCX) and went for a new road frame Speeder SC-R52D, that should arrive end of Jan. I am tired of waiting already.
But this frame CX-002 could be close to a do it all one, quiver killer.

I had the exact same idea, do it all, pseudoaero, reasonable light, big clearance, what is not to like?
Finally went for a road only frame, but please keep us posted on your progress.
It is frame with so many possibilities.

This might mean they have lots of orders and a bottleneck painting?
70$ they told me at the time. Shinny red gloss with sparkles. They also said it was possible painting the seatpost and cockpit at the time…

Hi, 52D ordered here, black gloss. They are not really customizing a lot (no decals etc), but they were open to discuss complex colors (glitter, metallic...), although I did not feel like taking the risk and went the easy way with black.

I guess we will get more insight as frames arrive, first orders might arrive to forum memebers in Dec. Mine EoJanuary or Feb since it is estimated to be ready 6th of Jan. I will post my progress.

What was the price for the Speeder SC-R52D plus shipping?
745$ frame, 30$ the headset, Thru Axles 20$ (did not order these as I want lighter ones, these are okish @84gr set but I can go below 60gr for little more). Shipping 120$

BTW, so far Speeder were fast and even after ordering, I am sending questions about the axles and they answered very promptly and accurate. i hope it stays like this.

Why not the "Super Light Pattern" wheels directly from Speeder, look identical to the Winspace, have an internal width of 21mm, so you can save money on transport costs?
Thanks I will check that path too good hint, it is +100gr. vs Elite Drive. Elite has good reviews and I am Zipp happy customer that is why I was considering these, but happy to look for alternaties as I need to wait for the frame
 :(

Yes, I made some good deals there too. Some people switch the 10-16 for a 10-28 in the red group and will be looking to one of those too, 10-26 should be enough for my riding.

Hi all,

after some time reading only, I decided to build my first disc bike.
I purchased a Speeder SC-R52D frame.
It is the same frame as the Adris Bikes Performance and I saw it in some Forum comments sold by Speeder that sells to direct customer and also saw it by Adapt bikes as AT-B01 (here with 30mm clearance vs the 28mm anounced by Speeder). Good alrounder semi-aero and reasonably light frame.
It should be sent to Germany by early January, so now I have some time to start searching for parts.
I though it might be interesting for the Forum as I have been profiting from your insight for a while and I hope I can contribute soon.

My objective is to get arroung 7,2Kg ride-ready which is 500gr away from my current bike due to switching to disc breaks and with a budget around 4500€, so I think it won´t be so easy.

Sram AXS Red 2x12 with a Praxis Zayante crank and SRAM Force Cassette. A light 100Gr saddle and 303 Firecrest / Elite Drive / Hunt carbon spokes wheels should do the trick with the right tires 25mm front 28 rear.

The Wheels are actually the biggest headache. ZIPP 303 FC with llifetime warranty or Elite Drive crazy wieght and price? Hunt Black-Friday prices?

Will keep you posted if there is interest.

Cheers!
