Have any of you ordered one of these yet? If so what made you choose it over a Carbonda 936 or 909; Ican S3  or Lightcarbon 918? Were there other options you considered?

Hey all, on the 936 in size Medium, have done a handful of rides on it... feeling regrets choosing the SL size M. I am 182 cm with longish legs. It feels cramped at times. A ride I did with lots of tight corners (I live in rocky, chunky Arizona) revealed how awkward I feel on the bike. Then again I could also just be lacking cornering skills. I'm coming from a size L Specialized Fuse with a 170 cranks and a 45mm stem. First time riding a full sus, the hardtail felt so much more straight forward. I ride rough XC with some occasional rough trail.

I heard a lot of cases reading through all the pages for "sizing up", but I am also taking RAD into consideration. But when the suspension (Rockshox RT M rebound, L compression) is active, steering get's wonky. It feels like reach shortens. The straight-line speed is excellent though.

I am currently riding a 50mm stem with 780 bars, but I did also pick up a 75mm stem to lengthen things out. The result was a floppy steering, I'm feeling stuck and not sure if there's anything that can be done to "fix" the fit. I'm open to any ideas y'all may have. If I must go large, wouldn't that make my stem tiny?? I am definitely on the bike to tackle challenging/technical climb, the downhill is a fun bonus :)

If you need to add length and stem doesn't work... try moving the seat back? Sorry if this sounds obvious but it might be a free upgrade!

curious to have feedback from others about the xcadey brand...

BTW, 4iiii is a canadian company

I've been running an X-CADEY since summer 2022 after doing lots of research (too much). I had to adjust the software a little to get accurate readings (which was easy). Since I set it up I have had no problems at all and it communicates well with my Wahoo Bolt pushing to TrainerRoad. I did have a day when it mysteriously didn't work... and then I realized I had not charged it for 4 months  ;D

I think it would benefit spcycle greatly if they took a look at how the market is trending before committing to creating their tooling.  It seems to me that this frame isn't what a lot of people want.  There's always going to be somebody who will buy this, but if I saw this on a catalog page I'd take a pass on it.

What's not right? It looks pretty good to me.

Cables through the headset: yes, it's a bit of a pain when you're building it, but worth it for the clean lines
People are talking about the seat tube length: it's shorter than a Genius, Epic Evo and Anthem Advanced. 10mm longer than a Top Fuel
Chainstays are shorter than all of the above. That's a good thing in my mind
Wheelbase is in the shorter end of modern 'normal'. So it won't feel like too much of a tank
BB drop is the same as a Spark

Hi Friend
We have now started pre-sales. The pre-sale price is 699USD. Some countries offer free shipping.
We will release it publicly in June. Retail price 798USD.
best regards
spcycle

Do you offer free shipping to the UK, US or Canada?

It's not Chiner, but North Shore Billet make Shimano style chainrings that fit on SRAM mount. A neat way to keep everything compatible without swapping cranks / being stuck with SRAM. I've been running one for a year with no issues.

That looks  8). Very interested to hear how it rides as I think about upgrading from Airwolf 026 to full suspension for this year.

Another quick update on this...

1. Xcadey power meter was only 5% out... I forgot I had been fiddling with the settings when I received it assuming it would over read. I messed it up and had forgotten
2. Went for a VERY wet ride last night - puddles up to the BB and axles. Xcadey will working fine this morning.

A few months in and the XCadey is proving reliable but power readings didn't seem right based perceived effort with a gym spin bike. So I measured it. Same climb done 3 times back to back. Used elevation, weight and time to calculate estimated power using these formulae:

- Joe Friel / Bible: https://www.trainingbible.com/joesblog/2008/01/climbing-power-formula.html#:~:text=Lim's%20formula%20to%20estimate%20the,for%20rolling%20and%20air%20resistance.
- Broleur: https://www.broleur.com/hill-climb-calculator/

My feelings were right. Xcadey is 12% out. The good news is... it's consistently 11-12% out and I can adjust for it in the app.

Conclusion: 3 months in including wet rides and I'm happy but do your homework to calibrate correctly.

I am in contact with Workswell about their new(ish) WCB-M-364 or WCB-M-363: https://www.workswellbikes.com/MOUNTAIN%20BIKES/

They only sell wholesale, but the minimum order is only 5 frames so I am interested to know about anyone's experience with either of these frames. Does anyone know which brands are selling this frame? What experience does anyone have dealing with Workswell?

I'm a big fan of my Airwolf YFM-026. Others have had issues but I've had no problems.

I use mine to ride to work, to race CX and for some pretty hard riding on Vancouver's North Shore and in Squamish, BC.

Update: I ordered through Aliexpress rather than Xcadey direct because it worked out a little cheaper. Arrived 3 weeks faster to west coast of Canada than expected. Set up was very easy. One thing to note: unlike speed, power does not show on my Wahoo BOLT until I start a ride or workout.

I've done a road ride and a cyclocross race in the dry and seems to be working fine so far. I have no idea how accurate it is, but will work this out at some point. For now I think it is at least consistent.

After far too much thinking and watching GP Lama reviews, I pulled the trigger on the Xcadey. Let's see how this goes!
