Has anyone bought directly from Tavelo? (tavelo.cc)
I want to buy their wheelset, they say the price includes free shipping and duties/tax (shipped to EU, but they claim it’s the same to US or EU, same price and all pre-paid), but I found only people buying Tavelo components from pandapodium (where the same wheelset is much more expensive)
Is it safe to buy from them directly?

I bought an Arow frameset directly from them. No additional duties shipping to Germany, but I was in contact with them before ordering to clarify this.

I initially received one wrong headset bearing but after reporting the mistake to them they shipped the right one immediately with express shipping at no additional cost, received it within a week. Obviously could have sourced it locally but since it was winter anyway when I built it, there was no hurry to do so.

They also provided me a custom 3D printed top cover to match a FSA ACR stem/handlebar.

So overall really happy with ordering directly from them.

Can you share more info on this crankset? Brand because I do not find Max as a brand in Aliexpress.  Any link possible?   Thanks.

It seems the store that sold them is offline. Also the direct link in my order history does not work anymore.

Also interested in running a stem and handlebar combination. However not a conventional stem that Peaktorque sells the top cover for.

Anyone running something like a Deda DCR or FSA ACR/SMR and can share how it fits?

Ok so people in the Facebook group „Winspace Owners“ could potentially be biased towards Winspace, I give you that. But why would you post there and hope for approval in the first place?
But if you know anything about this forum, that is not the case here.
It is a great forum with a lot of people having great knowledge. So please do yourself a favour and stop spreading hate here and having unnecessary discussions.

I finished the build, overall went pretty smooth apart from me making some things more complicated than they had to be
For now I  just threw a lot of parts from my old bike onto the Winspace. Currently running 40mm deep wheels, but my 60mm should arrive soon.

I have just ridden about 50km now, but compared to my old aluminium frame it's a rocketship (as it should be )

Overall pretty happy so far.

Just one thing I noticed (not the end of the world for me):
There are scratches at some points that seem to be underneath the clear coat and probably even underneath the actual paint.

Does it just come from raw frames also having these marks and the paint not being the thickest?

Here is a picture of a Winspace frame that shows why there is a hole in the actual mold. It seems other manufacturers use a similar technique.
